This week’s best looks came from a TV set, a London opening, a rooftop in Washington DC and a few photo shoots. Here is who wore what, and where.

Nelly Mbonu

For her debut as host of Fusion Bite, Nelly wore a burnt-orange short-sleeved coat over a white shirt and a striped tie. She matched it with wide-leg trousers in orange, brown and cream stripes, white pointed shoes and gold bracelets. Her hair was styled in soft, loose waves. The show premieres on 10 October at 9:30am on Zee World, DStv channel 166 and GOtv channel 30.

Veekee James

While promoting the healthcare app CuraNovaX, Veekee wore a white ribbed tank top with black trim and light-wash flared jeans with crystals down both legs. She added a black belt with a gold buckle, a small black top-handle bag, rimless tinted sunglasses, a wristwatch and silver rings. Her hair was styled long, loose braids. Lily attended the opening of Ebony Life Place London, hosted by Mo Abudu wearing a white satin shirt knotted at the waist and a matching floor-length skirt from Liv Eve. She carried a pale green mini bag and wore brown-tinted sunglasses. Her hair was styled in soft waves with a fringe.

Medlin Boss

During an evening outing in Washington DC, Medlin wore a black cropped top from Victoria’s Secret and olive shorts from Loewe, with an orange Hermès poncho over her shoulders. Her hair was styled in loose waves and she carried a small black Fendi purse and wore gold strappy sandals from Rene Caovilla and black sunglasses.

To mark her new role as an executive producer, Nancy wore a bronze taffeta gown with wide lapels, puffed sleeves and a fitted skirt that flared into ruffles at the hem. She accessorised with a gold leaf necklace, and her hair was styled in neat finger waves. She shared the pictures to thank fans for their messages and support, saying this new season of her life comes with a lot of nerves.

Kim Oprah

For what appeared to be a lunch outing, Kim wore a white bodysuit with a sweetheart neckline and thin straps, paired with white knee-length denim capris that had a notch at the hem. Her hair was styled in long waves with a deep side-part. She carried a pale blue-grey mini bag and wore metallic strappy heels.

Speaking on a panel at Beauty in the Motherland on influence, authenticity and accountability in beauty, Osas wore a yellow pleated midi dress with a high neck, cut-out sides and splashes of green, white and blue. She added orange strappy heels and a metallic gold mini bag. Her short cropped hair was styled by Faitlyn Hair.

Toke Makinwa

At her Sip, Shimmer and Scent pop-up event, Toke wore a powder-blue Zimmermann dress with a button-front top, puffed sleeves, a floral print and a ribbon tied at the waist. She carried a white bag from her own label, Tokemakinwa Luxury, and wore blue satin slingback heels with a bow detail by Amina Muaddi. Her hair was in a high updo with yellow drop earrings.
