Celebrities Spotted at the Mai ATAFO SS27 Womenswear Show

Ahead of the official Lagos Fashion Week dates, ATAFO presented its SS27 womenswear collection at a private showcase on October 25, 2026. Themed “All Boys Out,” the display introduced “A Measure of Her,” a lineup of formalwear designed for women. Nigerian celebrities, including Hilda Baci, Liquorose, and Frances Theodore attended the event in a range of looks, from tailored jackets and wide-leg trousers to a dress with a feathered train.

Hilda Baci wore a grey two-piece in a repeated pattern, with a loose short-sleeve jacket and wide-leg floor pant. She accessorized with a brown silk scarf, large round gold earrings, tinted sunglasses and a burgundy clutch.

Kim Oprah wore an oversized brown blazer with wide shoulders over a thin-striped white shirt, paired with tailored white shorts. She completed the look with a brown and white woven handbag and a pixie cut.

Frances Theodore wore an off-the-shoulder black mini dress with red beaded trimming along the neckline. The dress had a transparent black skirt that flowed to the hem, finished with red and black feathers. She completed the look with sheer black opera-length gloves.

The collection moved tailoring away from the usual suit, mixing strong cuts with gentle details. For ATAFO, a woman in formal clothes is free to leave old rules behind, and the show treated power dressing as something that can feel soft and feminine.
