Simi Sanya and Femi Dapson Celebrate Their Second Wedding

Simi Sanya and Femi Dapson are on their high-profile wedding journey and it has been an unforgettable experience. They held their civil wedding in Lagos on February 19, 2026, Simi took to her Instagram and captioned the photos:” Legally Hitched. MR and MRS Dapson to you forever.”

It all started in July 21, 2025, when Femi got down on one knee with pink flowers for Simi and a live serenade by singer Johnny Drille. Later that year November, 2025, they held their introduction ceremony, a warm and lively gathering of both families.

Then for their civil wedding, they both wore matching outfits. Simi wore a structured ivory mini-dress crafted from lace and chantilly fabric. The gown had a high victorian-style neckline, beaded lace and a short, flared shape, and the dress was from Stichesbyaisy. Sanya accessorized her look with diamond statement earrings and wristwatch from Bozdiamonds. Her hair was styled by Lolaexpresshair in a classic side-parted bob with outward-curly ends. For her shoes she wore white Maison Alaïa heels. Simi’s makeup was done by highlighted by Sophie in a soft-glam look, including defined brows, neutral eyeshadow, and a glossed lip.

Femi’s look was based on a light-camel coloured double-breasted suit from Tinathan Official. It was a tailored suit with peak lapels and a matching shirt and tie in the same earth-tone with matching wide-leg trousers. His accessories, including thick square-frame glasses were from Bozdiamonds. He wore brown leather dress shoes from Brand De Zeus.

This civil wedding is the second of four celebrations the couple has planned, and there is still more to come. If these first two are anything to go by, the next celebrations are anticipated with interest.
