Ruth Kadiri is an award-winning actress, scriptwriter and producer. She’s the producer of “Alaye” her debut prime video released on July, 2024, where she played the role of Catherine.

Ruth Kadiri is a Nigerian, She was born on 24th March 1988 in the giant Benin City, Edo State, South-South Nigeria. She studied Mass Communication in the University of Lagos and Business Administration at Yaba College of Technology.

Ruth Kadiri kick-started her acting career into Nollywood in the movie “Boys cot” and since then has over 80 movies to her credit. As a budding scriptwriter, she has written and co-written several movies including “matters arising, First class, over the edge.”

She has also produced films such as “Alaye”, “Boys to Men” “3rd Marriage” and her blockbuster YouTube movie “Better half” which was released in 2023 and has amassed over 18 million views on YouTube.

In 2015, She won the actress of the year award by Nigerian Entertainment award and in 2018, she also won the actress of the year award during the City People Movie Award.

The actress kept her love life away from the Internet until December 2017 when she publicly announced that she was married.

On August 26, 2019, Ruth gave birth to her first child and on July 20, 2022, She gave birth to her second child.

Ruth Kadiri is someone you will describe as determined, Focused and resilient. Her acting prowess is one that can get you glued to your screen for hours without getting weary or tired. She’s a full screen goddess. An iconic producer.
