When love meets fashion, the result is usually unforgettable. That’s exactly what Taiwo Ogebule (Taye9ja) and Toni Omotola (Toni Tone) showed us in their recent Yoruba traditional wedding attires. After giving us back-to-back pre-wedding photos, they promised to go extra and they delivered. Instead of sticking to one outfit, they served us three different breathtaking looks that we never saw coming. Each look didn’t just impress; it revealed who they are together.

Taye9ja & Toni-Tone

They started off in the color purple, with Toni in a fitted midi dress featuring beadwork and patterns in dark purple and patterns in magenta tones. Her gele was tied to perfection, complementing the look, while matching heels added a finishing touch. Next to her, Taye represents the culture of a Yoruba groom in his flowing agbada. Then, he wore a purple fila and held a traditional walking stick to tie the look together.

Then there’s their second outfit in green theme. Toni is dressed in a mermaid gown that has bold beadwork and details of sequins. She paired it with a teal gele and a shimmering mini-purse. On the other hand, Taye matched the energy in a deep forest green agbada that had elaborate embroidery. His cap and the green necklace added more drama and beauty to the look. The harmony between both couples was impossible to miss.

Finally, their third outfit was a showstopper. They saved the best for the last as Toni appeared in a gown that had a mosaic with multicolored circular patterns, which created an hourglass frame. The halter cut and daring slit in the dress command attention. The flowing train added the right amount of drama. Her sleek and a bit curly hair with beautiful makeup was done perfectly. Taye kept things simple in a sleeveless green suit that had silver at the edge of it. He accessorized with glasses, a chain necklace, and a watch.

These three looks had bold fashion statements. Yet, it wasn’t just about the style; it was the ease between them. The chemistry that made the outfit more than just fabric. If their traditional wedding can turn heads, then their church wedding will definitely be worth it.
