She also released a preview video for the new track on X. ‘Forgiveness’ is a beautiful ballad that covers themes of healing, atonement, and self-love. It was co-produced by outstanding producers Supa Dups and Digenius, Directed by Thedesgray and Starring Kenderick. It is also a profoundly personal song about Tiwa Savage’s past hardships and her quest to self-acceptance.”What are we even fighting for?” Tiwa enquires, saying, “I don’t want flowers; they die and stink up the place.” Forgiveness,” which comes after her successful soundtrack CD for her debut feature film, “Water & Garri,” which was released in May 2024, displays the 44-year-old award-winning musician’s vocal diversity and emotional depth.
