On March 6, 2026, Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori, better known as Kie Kie, dropped a set of photos on her Instagram page with the caption: “The body bodies every fit. Again if it’s not Kie Kie don’t collect it” and honestly, she was not wrong. The Nigerian media personality showed up in a fully adorned pink and black look styled by Josiphiah Michael.

She wore a black sheer corset bodysuit with structured boning underneath. The boning defined the waist and gave the torso a clean, sharp shape.

Over the bodysuit, she wore a deconstructed cropped jacket. The lapels and collar were bright pink and covered in crystals, while the sleeves are oversized black leather puffs that blew out dramatically on both sides. The pink crystal collar added a glamorous touch, the black leather sleeves pull it toward something harder, and the crop cut kept it from going too far in either direction. Josiphiah Michael clearly built this piece with that tension in mind.

She paired the outfit with pink, mini-length skirt wrapped asymmetrically at the hem. It heavily covered in white crystals and pearls. The asymmetric wrap hem breaks the outline of the skirt and stops it from looking too heavy with all that detailing on it

For her shoes, she went with thigh-high black leather boots with a chunky block heel. They stopped just below the kneecap, showing a portion of the leg while keeping the focus on the studded detailing and structure of the pieces above.

Her outfit was accessorized with a black baseball cap, completely covered in white pearls or crystals, matching the ornamentation on the jacket and skirt. At her neck was a single-strand pearl necklace. The earrings were pearl drops. Kie kie complemented the look with long black leather opera gloves that ran straight into the oversized sleeves, making the entire arm look like one block of black leather.

Her hair was styled straight and black, tucked behind both ears, which kept the cap, earrings, and necklace fully in view. Her makeup was a matte finish with dramatic winged liner, strong brows, and an ombre lip, dark brown at the edges bleeding into a lighter nude or soft pink at the centre. It was a full face that did not pull attention away from the outfit. Kie Kie’s images were captured by Edos Artistry.

It perfectly reflects the theme “When culture meets fashion” The kind that invites the viewer to appreciate the beauty of cultural craftsmanship to appreciate the beauty in culture and nature.

The look is simple at first glance. A light gold cropped top paired with a matching midi skirt. But the details show traditional artistry. It appears to be handwoven, with visible fringe texture that suggests craftsmanship rather than factory finishing.

The top is structured, cut just above the waist. It fits close without looking tight. The neckline is clean and modest, a soft square shape that opens up the collarbone area while remaining modest.

The skirt sits high on the waist and falls straight down with a slit that runs up to the thigh.
