Burna Boy Announces His Concert in Paris Amid The Lamborghini Drama with Sophia Egbueje That Shook Social Media

Burna Boy is no stranger to controversy, but his latest clash with socialite Sophia Egbueje has kept fans buzzing.
The drama unfolded when a leaked voice note surfaced online, featuring Sophia alleging that Burna Boy had promised her a luxurious Lamborghini in exchange for an intimate encounter which is a promise she claims remained unfulfilled. She recounted how mutual friends encouraged her to take Burna Boy seriously, citing his past lavish gifts to former partners. According to Sophia, after their affair, the promised Lamborghini never materialized, leading her to express her disappointment and eventually acquire the vehicle herself.
Of course, Burna Boy, known for his candidness, didn’t stay silent. He responded in a manner only he could. Taking to his Instagram story, he posted a freestyle video, humorously singing, “I no buy Lambo, is that why you’re shouting?” This lighthearted retort added fuel to the already blazing discussions online, with fans picking sides and debating whether the whole situation was just a misunderstanding or a deeper issue about expectations in relationships.
While some view the conversation as a mere misunderstanding blown out of proportion, others see it as a reflection of deeper societal issues and how ladies can go the extra mile to acquire stuff.
No matter where you stand on the drama, one thing is clear which is the fact that Burna Boy has mastered the act of keeping the public’s attention and knows how to keep the internet talking both through his music and his off-stage stunts.
Amidst the swirling controversies, Burna Boy is focused on something even bigger which is his upcoming concert at Stade de France in Paris on April 18, 2025. This isn’t just any kind of show; he’s about to make history as one of the few African artists to headline the biggest stadium in France.
As the winner of a Grammy Award for his album Twice as Tall in 2021, Burna Boy has taken Afrobeats beyond borders, selling out concerts worldwide. Following his triumphant sold-out show in May 2023, he’s returning to Paris to deliver an unforgettable experience, one that fans won’t want to miss.
With hit songs like “City Boys” and “Cheat On Me”, Burna Boy’s performances are nothing short of legendary. But he’s not coming alone. Fans can expect special appearances from top artists like Stormzy, Dave, J Hus, and Popcaan.
This concert is designed to be one for the history books. Burna Boy himself has said,
“Paris holds a special place in my heart. The energy and love of my fans here is unrivaled. I’m thrilled to be returning to Paris in April 2025, after the incredible concert we gave last year. This time, we’re going to do things bigger and better. Get ready, we’re about to make history once again!”
The concert is happening on Friday, April 18, 2025, and tickets are already available. Prices range from €63 to €173, with VIP offers available for fans looking for an exclusive experience.
This is a night that promises to be bigger, better, and unforgettable. If you’re a Burna Boy fan, Paris is the place to be this April!

Tems Claims Her Crown at Billboard Global Power Players Event

When Tems accepted the Diamond Award at the Billboard Global Power Players ceremony in London, it wasn’t just another trophy, it was a milestone. The Nigerian artist, whose sound has reshaped the global music landscape, stood proudly as the industry honored not just her talent, but the cultural wave she represents. And true to form, she did it with the same effortless magnetism that defines her career.
Dressed in a sky-blue dress—sculpted, sleek, and subtly daring. The dress, from Schiaparelli’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection had Tems embodying the confidence of an artist who’s learned to own her space. The gown’s deep sweetheart neckline and off-shoulder sleeves framed her silhouette with understated elegance, while a bold, twisted fabric braid running down the front added just enough edge to remind everyone: she plays by her own rules.

But the night wasn’t about the outfit. It was about the recognition—a moment Tems acknowledged with characteristic grace.
“Being African and a musician is a whole new world, and Billboard has championed not just our music, but the culture behind it.”
Her words cut to the heart of why this award matters. From Lagos to London, Tems has spent years bending genres, blending influences, and proving that African artists don’t need to conform to global expectations—they can redefine them. The Diamond Award isn’t just a celebration of her success; it’s a signal that the industry is finally catching up.

Tems
Even her styling whispered quiet rebellion. Her hair, softly curled by Yluxe, and her warm, bronzed makeup by Kayla Perez, kept the focus on her presence rather than flashy theatrics. Because when you’re making history, you don’t need gimmicks, you just need to be seen.
Surely, as the applause echoed through the room, one thing was clear: Tems wasn’t just collecting an award. She was claiming her place in the story of music. And if this night was any indication, she’s only just begun.
