Denim-on-Denim: Chioma Ikokwu Rocks Leather and Jeans in a Jaw-Dropping Combo

Chioma Ikokwu never misses when it comes to making fashion statements that blend luxury, confidence, and creativity. Each time she’s attending high-profile events, sitting on business panels, or simply stepping out for a day of shopping, her style consistently speaks volumes. Recently, she was spotted at Local Kettle Brothers UK, where she was shopping for fine jewelry, yet it was her outfit that truly stole the spotlight.Chioma

Chioma showed us how to master a tricky style trend which is denim-on-denim. But as always, she didn’t just follow the trend, she elevated it.

She wore a striking Celine varsity jacket, combining classic denim with rich, chocolate brown leather sleeves. The contrast was bold, yet refined, exactly the kind of piece you expect from someone who understands luxury with fashion.

Chioma

Beneath the jacket, Chioma kept it sleek and understated, letting the outerwear do the talking. Her Celine denim jeans matched the jacket perfectly, being clean-cut, classic, and flattering. The fit was structured without being stiff, giving her the perfect canvas to build a standout ensemble.

But it wasn’t just the denim and leather mix that caught our attention, it was how she pulled everything together with accessories that exude luxury. Chioma carried a stunning maroon Bottega Veneta quilted bag that sat comfortably on her arm. The bag’s color created a rich contrast against the denim tones, instantly adding depth to the entire look.Chioma

On her feet, she chose a pair of white slingback heels that are delicate, pointed, and just high enough to add elegance and comfort to wear. Her choice of footwear proved that the right heels can subtly elevate even the most relaxed denim look into something polished.

She didn’t stop there. Her signature glam was unmistakable. With softly curled hair styled by @goodhairltd and oversized Loewe sunglasses, Chioma looked every bit like the woman who owned her presence with confidence and poise.

While many people see shopping as just another errand, Chioma Ikokwu proves that even the simplest outing can be made an unforgettable experience.

This look wasn’t just about denim or designer labels. It was about confidence and once again, Chioma showed us how to rock denim on denim.

I Can’t Shut Up About Priscilla Ojo’s Edgy-Chic Style

Published

on

I need to pause for a second and acknowledge that Priscilla Ojo doesn’t always come to play in the fashion world. The actress, influencer, and daughter of Iyabo Ojo has carved out a signature fashion identity that’s both edgy and chic. From dramatic gowns to street-style looks that belong on a Pinterest board, she knows how to command attention with bold choices and sharp styling.

Whether she’s at the movie’s premieres, or gracing red carpets, Priscilla knows how to own a moment. She’s worn everything from hot pink ankara with a sculpted gele to off-shoulder leopard print dresses with thigh-high slits. Her looks are always a mix of Nigerian elegance and modern edge.

At the My Lady Jane premiere, she served soft drama in a princess-cut pink outfit with a flowing cape. And when she went for all-black at Enioluwa’s premiere, she paired it with playful pink heels, because even when she tones things down, she still adds flair.

Even off the red carpet, Priscilla’s still serving. For her 21st birthday, she wore a crystal mesh crop top and skirt combo with a denim jacket and crystal boots, equal parts glam and girl-next-door. At 22, she switched things up with a canary-yellow corset and gold sequin skirt. Even with her brand Priscyluxe, she always delivers a hot, chic look. She plays with colours fearlessly, often mixing bold hues and textures without ever looking overdone.

Priscilla doesn’t also shy away from Nigerian tradition either. At Davido and Chioma’s wedding, she wore a coral corset blouse with a wrapper and gele that screamed elegance. She makes aso-ebi look youthful and stylish, often adding modern cuts, dramatic sleeves, or accessories that freshen up the vibe.

Her Style Recipe? Bold, Smart, Confident.

Across all her looks, Priscilla consistently leans into statement pieces: cut-outs, high slits, bold prints, and unexpected accessories. She’s not trying too hard, she’s just intentional. Her outfits always say: “I know what I’m doing.”

Here’s a quick peek at some of her iconic looks:

Ada Omo Daddy Movie Premiere

Priscilla turned heads in a vibrant hot pink Ankara gown tailored to perfection. The gown featured a dramatic neckline and was paired with a sculptural gele that looked like a work of art. This look was a love letter to culture with a Gen Z twist, bold, modern, and unapologetically Nigerian. She looked like a confident young queen repping her roots while owning the spotlight.

A Tribe Called Judah Premiere

For this red carpet, she showed up in a fierce leopard-print, off-shoulder dress with a high slit that reached her thigh. The off-shoulder detail gave it a sultry edge, while the bold animal print brought all the drama. She styled it with sleek hair and a fierce attitude, proving that she knows how to do glam without being predictable.

22nd Birthday Look

Priscilla’s 22nd birthday style was nothing short of fire. She rocked a canary-yellow bustier top paired with a shimmering gold sequin high-slit straight maxi skirt. The colour combo was unexpected but completely genius, bold yet elegant. She tied the look together with strappy black heels and flat, sleek hair. The look was vibrant, confident, and totally on-brand for her bold fashion personality.

My Lady Jane Movie Premiere

This was one of her most fairy-tale moments. She wore a soft pastel pink ensemble featuring a princess-cut bodice and a long, flowing cape that trailed behind her like royalty. The outfit was feminine with a touch of drama, and her sleek bun and subtle glam makeup gave the whole look an air of elegance. It was soft power dressed in high fashion.

23rd Birthday Denim Glam

For her 23rd birthday bash, Priscilla Ojo embraced a bold and edgy aesthetic that perfectly captured her fashion-forward energy. She wore a sparkling silver mesh crop top covered in crystals, paired with a short denim skirt embellished with rhinestones. The standout detail? A detachable denim train that flowed behind her, adding drama and flair to the look.

To complete the outfit, she rocked matching knee-high denim boots that gave off a cool, coordinated vibe. Her golden blonde hair and clean, striking makeup tied everything together, making her the star of the night, effortlessly blending glam and Gen Z edge.

Davido & Chioma’s Wedding Appearance

As a guest at one of the most talked-about weddings in Naija, Priscilla understood the assignment. She wore a richly coral corset-style blouse paired with a matching wrapper in intricate patterns, topped with a gele that was perfectly laid. The fitted corset elevated the traditional look, while the fabric choice and tailoring made it both regal and fashion-forward. She looked like a bride, honestly, and that’s the kind of energy we all need when dressing for owambes.

Priscilla Ojo’s style works because she’s not afraid. She blends Lagos-girl glam with street style, culture with couture. She dresses like she knows who she is, and every look is a chapter in her fashion story.

She’s playful, stylish, and always a little unexpected. Whether in denim or gele, crystals or corsets, one thing’s for sure, I can’t shut up about her style, and honestly, I don’t want to.
