Bimbo Ademoye Just Turned a Hair Extension Into the Chicest Tie Detail

Bimbo Ademoye often experiment with styles, and her latest fashion style felt like it was made for its own applause. Known for her infectious energy and on-screen versatility, Nollywood star just proved that when it comes to style, she sets her own direction, shown in her recurring preference for corseted pieces.

She wore a sharp, burgundy power suit, Bimbo could have easily gone for a conventional silk necktie or a statement necklace. Instead of that, she went for a braided hair extension.

Ademoye wore a structured, single-breasted blazer from Mimmikasu, with sharp lapels and padded shoulders that was sharply tailored to her frame. Bimbo paired it with matching high-waisted, straight-leg tailored trousers that created a seamless line.

Underneath the blazer she wore a crisp white button-down shirt. The key detail of her outfit was her necktie, a thick, neatly three-strand braided hair extension in a matching wine-red shade, tucked under the collar.

While Bimbo’s hair was styled in a blunt-cut bob with a sharp middle part, her makeup featured defined, arched brows, neutral eyeshadow, and a glossy lip that complemented the bold tones of her suit.

For accessories, she carried a structured top-handle satchel in an off-white and black snakeskin print from Winston Leather sporting oversized, gold wire-framed aviator-style clear glasses. Her outfit was completed with classic black pointed-toe heels.

Back in February, she was in a dark brown leather jacket, white fitted skirt, knee-high boots, and a red Lady Dior bag, giving every bit of a cool girl feel. Now she’s in a tailored suit with a braided tie. Different looks, same Bimbo.

On May 7, 2026, Toke Makinwa posted some photos on her Instagram with the caption “Outside but Untouchable.” Recently, she expressed to us that Hertunba has a permanent spot in her wardrobe. The media personality and entrepreneur have reached for the Lagos-based label more than once in a short period of time, and that kind of repeated loyalty means Toke does not wear things by accident. Every look is carefully picked out.

She wore a dona coal top which had thick blue halter-style straps, a deep V-neckline with a triangle-shaped cutout just above the waist and an oversized red lip motif centered on a wide, peplum-like base. She paired the top with a high-waisted midi skirt in matching black fabric.

Her jewellery were simply stud earrings, silver bracelets and a wrist watch. She wore her hair in loose waves with a clean middle part and her makeup consisted of warm earthy tones and a nude-pink lip that complemented her skin. Makinwa completed her outfit with gold-coloured strappy heeled sandals.

This is not the first Hertunba look she has worn recently. Her last outing in the brand was a bold striped co-ord, a matching top and skirt in contrasting colours that leaned into pattern and print. This one is different, the all-black midi with its graphic bodice and flowing skirt is a step up.
