Keivo Wins the Week 9 Head of House Challenge

Keivo returned to the Head of House challenge after narrowly missing out on the title the previous week. The challenge had four stages, with points from each round added to determine the overall winner. In the final stage, “Slow and Steady”, the housemates had to build a stable stack without knocking it down. Keivo finished with the highest overall score.

His win made him the Week 9 Head of House and gave him immunity. He chose Aikou as his HoH Loft mate, while Oyin became the week’s Benchwarmer. After the challenge, Keivo addressed his earlier disagreement with Oyin, admitting that some of his jokes had gone too far and apologising to her.

Barry’s Ultimate Veto Sends All 10 Housemates to the Finale

Barry‘s Ultimate Veto Power became a major moment of the week when he entered the Diary Room to make his decision. Big Brother gave him two options, “Immunity For All” or “Immunity For None”. After asking for clarification, Barry chose to give immunity to everyone.

He was then instructed to keep the decision to himself and not reveal it to the other housemates. His choice meant there would be no public eviction vote in Week 9, allowing all 10 housemates to secure places in the finale. The finalists are Aikou, Barry, Bluethopia, Flora, Keivo, Oyin, Ricky, Sheba, Temi Nkem and Tram.

Housemates Prepare for the “This Is My Legacy” Wager

With eviction off the table, the housemates turned their attention to the Week 9 wager, which centred on the theme of Legacy. Each finalist had to prepare an individual monologue titled “This Is My Legacy”, reflecting on their time in the Show Ya Sef house and what they wanted their journey to represent.

The housemates spent much of the week writing and rehearsing their presentations. Sheba worked on her script and asked Aikou to help refine some parts, while the others prepared their own monologues ahead of their performances in the Arena.

Housemates Win Their Week 9 Wager

The finalists presented their “This Is My Legacy” wager in the Arena on Thursday, September 24. Each housemate delivered an individual presentation before Big Brother announced the result.

The housemates won the Week 9 wager and received BB Bucks as their reward. The result brought their rehearsals to an end and gave the finalists a chance to relax after their performances.

Disagreements Continue Inside the House

Although there was no eviction, the week still had its share of disagreements. Keivo and Oyin had a heated exchange after a conversation became personal. Keivo later told Aikou that he planned to apologise publicly, which he did after winning the Head of House challenge.

The tension between Oyin and Bluethopia from the previous night also carried into the start of Week 9. Flora tried to calm Oyin after the disagreement, but the conversation briefly caused tension between Flora and Oyin before they settled their differences.

Temi Nkem and Tram also continued their teasing exchanges, including a conversation about a kiss they had previously shared in the house. Tram later spoke to Sheba about a housemate he did not want to discuss, while other conversations among the finalists focused on friendships, trust and changes in their relationships during the season.

Pool Party Follows Wager Victory

After winning their wager, the housemates headed to the pool for a celebration. The party gave them a break from the scripts and rehearsals that had taken up much of the week, as the finalists spent time together before returning indoors later that night.

Barry later gave Oyin the BB Bucks he received from the wager win, and she responded with a hug.

With all 10 finalists now confirmed, the housemates can focus on the final stretch of the competition. Their next challenge will be to make the most of the remaining days before the Season 11 finale.

Keivo has emerged as the Week 9 Head of House in Big Brother Naija Season 11, earning immunity and a place in the finale. His victory came on Monday, September 21, as the reality show entered its ninth week.

Keivo had finished as second in the previous week’s Head of House challenge, but returned to the Arena and won this time. The Week 9 challenge consisted of four games, with points from each game added together to determine the winner.

The final game, titled “Slow and Steady,” required the housemates to build a stable stack and leave the platform without knocking it down,

His Head of House win came with immunity and a guaranteed place in the finale. Keivo also had the privilege to choose a housemate to share the Head of House Loft with. He selected Aikou, while Oyin was named the week’s Benchwarmer.

The night took another turn during the nomination process when Barry was called to use his Ultimate Veto Power. Big Brother presented him with two choices: “Immunity For All” or “Immunity For None.”

Barry asked for clarification before making his decision. He eventually chose “Immunity For All,” granting immunity to every remaining housemate. Big Brother then instructed him to keep the decision secret.

Barry’s decision confirmed all 10 remaining housemates as finalists. They are Aikou, Barry, Bluethopia, Flora, Keivo, Oyin, Ricky, Sheba, Temi Nkem and Tram.

The decision means all 10 remaining housemates have secured places in the finale, with no public vote this week.

Keivo’s victory came a day after Yusuf, Bells and Chimsom Chuka were evicted during the Week 8 live show, reducing the number of housemates to 10.

With the finalists now confirmed, the focus shifts to the final stage of Season 11. The grand finale is scheduled for October 4, 2026.

Big Brother Naija Season 11 has recorded its latest triple eviction, with Yusuf Muhammed-Awal, Isabella “Bells” Imoh and Chimsom Chuka leaving the “Show Ya Sef” house during the live show on Sunday, September 20.

The three housemates were evicted on Day 56 of the competition, hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu. Their departures leave 10 housemates competing for the remaining places in the finale, while Barry has already secured his spot after winning the Week Eight Head of House challenge.

Yusuf, Bells and Chimsom were among 11 housemates nominated for possible eviction following Barry’s Head of House victory. After defeating Keivo in the final round of the challenge, Barry received immunity and the Ultimate Veto Power, which he used to rescue Aikou from the eviction list.

The remaining nominees were Yusuf, Bells, Chimsom, Sheba, Tram, Temi Nkem, Ricky, Bluethopia, Oyin, Flora and Keivo.

Tram ultimately escaped eviction after receiving 7.56 per cent of the votes. Chimsom followed with 6.90 per cent, Yusuf received 6.77 per cent and Bells recorded 6.57 per cent. The three lowest vote-getters were subsequently evicted.

For Yusuf, the result brings his time in the competition to an end after a season that saw considerable attention around his relationship with Bells and his interactions with other housemates. His exit also comes after a number of weeks in which the pair’s relationship became a recurring part of the show’s storyline.

Bells leaves the house after 56 days, having also become closely associated with Yusuf during the competition. The pair’s relationship was among the storylines that attracted attention throughout the season, including their confrontation with former housemate Sultex in Week Five.

Chimsom’s eviction marks the end of a 56-day run that included two Head of House victories. His first came early in the season, followed by another HoH win in Week Four, making him the first housemate of the season to win the title twice.

The latest departures follow the previous week’s double eviction of Abisola “Abi” Ayoola and Oluwaseyifunmi “Araga” Sosanya. Nomy was also disqualified earlier in the season, while several other housemates had already left through eviction and Neche exited voluntarily.

Season 11 premiered on July 26 with 24 housemates competing for a ₦160 million grand prize package, comprising ₦100 million in cash and a brand-new SUV. With the latest triple eviction, the competition now moves into its final phase, with Barry guaranteed a place in the finale and the remaining housemates competing for the other spots.
