Tiwa Savage Deepest Life Regret

Afrobeats Queen Tiwa Savage opens up about her deepest regret leaving her marriage; this is coming six years after she divorced her husband and called him a deadbeat.
With a renewed sense of self-awareness, Tiwa Savage acknowledges the mistakes of her past. She wishes she had not let the notion that the grass is greener on the other side decieve her as she reveals that she regrets the decision for ending her marriage.
“Simi And Adekunle Gold makes me regret being single,” she admits. “Their love is still burning fresh like they started just yesterday.”
She made this known while on set with Simi in her words “I had to ask her when she met Adekunle Gold again. Because AG kept calling and checking up on her every now and then, like 10 times in 10 minutes hahaha. Their love is still burning fresh like they started just yesterday. Omo, na that day single life pain me.
“Don’t listen to that man promising you heaven and earth, he may become worse than your partner,” she added, with words of advice, “I regret leaving my marriage,” she says.
But, her reflection on the past and admittance of her failed marriage has not held her back in smashing records.
Recently, she showed us that even with her numerous awards that she is still ontop of her game and remains undisputable Queen of Afrobeats as she shared on IG her new compelling song “One Heart” (Can Change the World) a soundtrack for Motion Pictures “Ozi: Voice of the Forest.” an animation produced by Leonardo DeCaprio. And as usual her strong vocals did an excellent job to the song with its well crafted instrumentals. The lyrics of the song are uplifting and inspiring and talks about how one voice can make a difference.
Even with her very busy schedule and the whole of August and September booked for tours she remains so supportive of her circles, as she’s seen in stand two days ago supporting Flavour at his 2niteflavour Show in OVO Arena, Wembley, while dancing to “Do I,” by Phyno ft Burno Boy.

Beyond the Spotlight: Tiwa Savage’s Tokyo Diary with Jamil

Tiwa Savage’s latest trip to Tokyo was a pause from the spotlight and a chance to experience a different rhythm of life with her son, Jamil. There were no concerts or flashing cameras, just a mother and child soaking in the beauty of a city that thrives on both tradition and modernity.
They wandered from neon-lit streets to quiet tea rooms, moving at a pace far removed from the intensity of showbiz. One of their most memorable stops was a traditional Japanese tea ceremony. Seated together on tatami mats, Tiwa and Jamil watched as each step of the ritual unfolded: the careful whisking of matcha, the silence between pours, the deliberate grace of it all. For them, it was less about performance and more about sharing a moment of calm in a culture that values stillness.

For the occasion, Tiwa slipped into a pale pink silk kimono embroidered with cherry blossoms, her look completed with a coral obi and a single flower in her hair. Wearing the kimono was not about fashion statements. It was a gesture of respect, a way of stepping into the culture she and Jamil were discovering together.
Outside the tea house, their Tokyo diary was filled with scenes of warmth and playfulness. They strolled down lantern-lit alleys, sampled street-side snacks, and captured snapshots of Jamil’s wide-eyed curiosity at every new sight. His laughter carried through the night air, leaving an imprint more lasting than any souvenir.

For her fans back home, these moments revealed a side of Tiwa rarely seen. In Tokyo, she was not the global superstar commanding stages; she was simply a mother discovering the world through her son’s eyes. And perhaps, in its quiet way, that may be her most powerful performance yet.

Priscilla Ojo and Juma Jux Welcome Their Baby Boy, Prince Rakeem Mkambala

Just a few days ago, Priscilla Ojo was celebrating her baby shower — the moment we all found out she was expecting a boy. Now, the little one has arrived, and he already has a name with its own story: Prince Rakeem.
At the shower, Juma Jux had casually mentioned “Rakeem” as his pick for the baby’s name, while Priscilla, who had once leaned toward a girl, held on to “Prince.” The two names have now blended into something unique regal yet unexpected.
The first look at Prince Rakeem came through a carousel of photos, and everyone’s still talking about it. In one black-and-white close-up, the newborn is wrapped in a printed onesie covered in tiny animals and playful characters complete with matching socks. His tiny fingers are the most heart-melting sight
Another photo shows him resting peacefully in his crib, surrounded by soft comforts — a giant white teddy bear, a smaller brown stuffed toy, and cozy bedding. In a video, Priscilla is seen being wheeled out of the hospital, cradling her son, stepping into her new role as a mother.
The family moment becomes even warmer with Iyabo Ojo’s entrance. In the final clip, she can be seen singing to her grandson, radiant with joy, before proudly declaring her new role: “Say hello to the latest sexiest grandma in town, my grandson is the cutest.

Asake Shows off New Hair on Stage

Afrobeats singer Asake surprised fans by unveiling a striking new hairstyle during his latest performance. He stepped out with bright blue hair that immediately caught the lights and the audience’s eyes, creating a moment that was as much about style as it was about sound.
Fans who were used to his familiar dreadlocks and afro didn’t expect such a drastic switch. The vivid color gave his stage presence an extra edge, turning the performance into a visual event as much as a musical one
Reactions poured in almost instantly. Within minutes, clips from the show spread online, sparking mixed opinions. Some praised the fresh look as daring and stylish, while others admitted they needed time to adjust. Either way, the change had people talking.
Asake hasn’t shared why he made the switch, leaving room for guesses. Some believe it’s a playful experiment; others see it as a statement of confidence. Whatever the reason, it shows his willingness to reinvent himself and keep his image just as unpredictable as his sound.
The night proved once again that Asake’s performances go beyond music; they create moments that linger in memory. So, what do you think: does his new look add to the magic, or is it a step too far?
