Afrobeats artist, Asake is gearing up to release his fourth album, following his 2024 album “Lungu Boy” which achieved good success. The “lonely at the top” singer is set to drop this new album on May 1st, 2026.

“M$NEY” marks his fourth studio album since his debut in 2022. He first ventured into the mainstream with a single “Lady” in 2020 and has since become one of Afrobeats’ most-streamed artists.

He released his debut album, “Mr Money With The Vibe” in 2022, which became a commercial success and strengthened his sound of Fuji-inspired vocals, street-hop, and Amapiano.

This fourth album is his first project under his label. He announced on Instagram the date, dropping a video of a stone carver, Dutch sculptor Athar Jabar, working on what seems to be his cover art.

Jabar said the project required a careful approach, given Asake’s public profile

“Working on the likeness of someone whose presence is so widely recognised brings a particular responsibility,” Jabar said. “That’s why, for this sculpture of Asake, I chose the prestigious Statuario marble from Carrara, Italy, and carved the entire piece by hand, following traditional methods without the use of power tools, in a slow and deliberate process.

It was a real pleasure to carve a portrait bust of Asake, and an honour to contribute to this moment in his career, as well as to a lasting record of his image in marble.”

Among the 13 tracks are previously released singles such as “Worship,” a collaboration with DJ Snake, “Why Love” “Badman Gangsta.”

M$NEY continues his blend of Fuji-inspired vocals, Amapiano rhythms, and Afrobeats.

Ayra Starr made her U.S. daytime TV debut on The Jennifer Hudson Show, walking the Spirit Tunnel in a plum latex dress before announcing her album Starr Girl.

She walked through the Spirit Tunnel as if the hallway were already hers, smooth, unhurried, fully in sync with the energy around her.

The Spirit Tunnel is the show’s signature welcome tradition: fans and crew line a narrow corridor, clapping, chanting, and dancing a guest all the way to the stage.

For Ayra, they went further with a personalised chant: “Ayra Starr! She got us all turning up! And the turn-up here at JHud! Wait! We hope she feels the love! Hey! Hey! It’s Ayra Starr! At the JHud, it’s Ayra Starr!” She matched it step for step, shoulder rolls, hand movements, bright smiles, without missing a beat.

Ayra wore a plum latex purple midi dress with a high neckline and a glossy finish. She paired it with black block platform heels, silver bangles, and drop earrings. Her hair was in a full high ponytail with soft curls falling around her face, and her makeup stayed clean, soft glam, and glossy lips.

What made the clip more fun was how she played along with the crowd with bright energy. By the time she reached the “On Air” door and onto the purple carpet, she had already delivered a full performance before the show even started.

Ayra Star knows how to make an unforgettable entrance. Whether on stage, the red carpet, or studio hallway.
