For many, ankara has long been associated with Sunday wear or formal ceremonies, but Mercy Eke is changing that narrative. The well-known reality TV personality and style influencer recently attended her friend Nelly Mbonu store opening and made it a high-fashion affair. Her appearance showed the versatility of African print. She posted the photos on Instagram with the caption, “It’s giving Ada Imo.”

The BBNaija Season 4 winner arrived in a two-piece matching set from Designs by Lezie featuring a sleeveless halter-neck top with a sharp collar and small keyhole cutouts down the center of the chest and an exposed midriff. She paired it with a high-waisted flared skirt with its hemline adorned with dangling white cowrie shells. Her outfit was in red African wax print fabric decorated with navy blue grid lines and a scattering of yellow, white, and black stars.

Mercy’s accessories were minimal and included a Dior top-handle bag in an emerald green colour, a thin gold chain necklace and bracelet. Her hair was styled in long deep waves in a honey-brown shade with a middle part. Her makeup consisted of warm tones and a glossy nude lip. For shoes, she wore crisp white pointed-toe heeled pumps, providing a clean contrast to the colourful outfit. Photography was by Kosi Lifestyle.

This outing comes weeks after Mercy wore a completely different style in late May, captioning her photos “Living life in colours.” That time, she went with a green tank top, bold orange and dark green striped wide-leg trousers, a mini orange Kelly bag, and white heels. That look leaned into casual maximalism, while this one feels more occasion-ready.

Kiki’s Best Looks All Have One Thing in Common

Kiki knows exactly what works for her, and it shows in every outfit she wears. Whether she is relaxing on a boat, standing on a hillside terrace, or spending time by the water, she always reaches for one constant item: her sunglasses. If you look through her photos, you’ll notice her sunglasses are never a last-minute addition. They shape her look every time.

At the beach, Kiki wore a swirl-print halter top and cream trousers. She added narrow white sunglasses that matched her quilted bag. The white frames worked with the pastel print in her top, and the pairing looked like something she had thought through beforehand.

On a terrace, in a brown top and wide-leg pants, she wore glasses with delicate gold detailing. She wore them while looking into the distance, and once more, they read as a deliberate part of her outfit.

Then there is the evening look. She wore a beaded purple dress with cutouts and paired it with slim, rectangular glasses, even as the day turned into night. Most people would have taken their sunglasses off by then, but Kiki kept hers on, making the sunglasses a defining part of the outfit.

On her yacht, she wore a navy bikini and a matching headscarf. Again, she reached for aviators, matching her jewelry and scarf colours closely. On the dock, she went for a different mood with a striped headscarf, gold jewelry, and a knit dress, she chose amber-tinted aviators. They complemented the warm glow of the late afternoon sun.

Sunglasses do more than shield her eyes from the sun for Kiki. They are the detail she returns to again and again, the one accessory that shows up whether she is on a boat, a terrace, or a beach. That consistency is what makes her personal style easy to recognize.

Nelly Mbonu Wore a Plunging Little Black Dress for a Photoshoot

Nelly Mbonu shared photos from a new shoot, looking effortlessly chic in a little black dress. Since posting the images, she has received an outpouring of admiration from her followers, with many praising her ability to keep things simple without losing impact. The look is another reminder that she remains just as confident and captivating in front of the camera as she was during her time in the house.

Photo: Instagram

She wore a structural black gown with a deep V-neckline that extended down to the midriff. It was designed with form-fitting long sleeves and a sharply snatched waistline that emphasized an hourglass shape. The most notable feature was the hip-padded bubble skirt, which added bold volume to the lower half before tapering tightly at the thigh-length hemline. Every angle of the shoot showed off that shape well.

Photo: Instagram

Her hair was styled back into a smooth, low ponytail with a clean center part, leaving her neck and chest bare so the neckline stayed the focus. Her main accessory was a thick black fabric choker with a 3D floral rosette placed at the center of her throat. For footwear, she wore glossy black patent leather stiletto pumps with pointed toes, which matched the clean, all-black look from head to toe.

Nelly’s fashion run has come at a busy time for her career. She recently took on a supporting role in the Nollywood holiday film “A Very Dirty Christmas,” playing a character named Power, her first credited film appearance since leaving the Big Brother house. It is a small but notable step for someone many still think of mainly as a reality TV personality.

Back in June, she celebrated her birthday in two looks, a beaded corset gown with a sculpted gold jaw piece and a rose-shaped gown in charcoal black. Compared to those, this latest look keeps it simple: a bold cut and the confidence to carry it.

Forget the boring Monday fit. Diiadem just stepped out in a black pinstripe suit that looked far removed from traditional office wear, especially for anyone still reaching for jeans and a top.

Diiadem wore a double-breasted black pinstripe pantsuit. The blazer featured padded, defined shoulders, crisp peak lapels and a low-cut V-neckline, contouring into a sharply fitted waist before flaring softly over the hips. She paired it with matching high-waisted, wide-leg trousers that flowed into a relaxed, floor-skimming shape. Glossy black pointed-toe stilettos peeked out beneath the trouser hems, tying the monochrome look together.

She completed the look with round crystal earrings and a minimalist initial pendant necklace in silver tones. Her hair was pulled back into a sleek, high-shine ponytail with a wrapped base concealing the hair tie, while her makeup stayed in soft nude shades. The styling remained understated, allowing the pinstripe suit to take centre stage.

There’s more going on for Diiadem than fashion right now. She’s currently up for Entrepreneur of the Year at the 2026 MOI Awards for the beauty brand she has built as CEO of Beauty by AD. The nomination comes as she continues to lead the brand while making public appearances that reflect her polished personal style.

This isn’t the first time Diiadem has switched things up either. A few days earlier, she wore a green-and-white striped corset dress from Kaykay Brand featuring a fitted bodice and dramatic full skirt. She paired it with green pointed heels and box braids secured with a small bow clip, captioning the post, “Happiness looks good on me.” Set against a pastel backdrop, the bold stripes and structured silhouette remained the focus.

From playful dresses to sharply tailored pieces like this pinstripe suit, Diiadem continues to show the range in her personal style.
