Idia Aisien has been in Cape Town since late March. The actress and media personality was among the guests at Universal Pictures’ promotional event for their upcoming romantic comedy “You, Me & Tuscany”, starring Halle Bailey and Regé-Jean Page. Idia showed up to the film event and made her outfit the headline. She shared the photos on Instagram on March 31, 2026, with the caption “Can i get a little commotion for the dress and glam squad”.

Photo: Instagram

Idia arrived at the event in a floral-print gown from Trishocouture. The gown’s bodice had a high neckline and long sleeves in sheer fabric printed with orange, yellow, and green floral patterns. It was artfully draped and fitted at the waist to create a defined shape. The lower half of the gown flowed into a floor-sweeping maxi skirt. It featured layered tulle ruffles and embroidered petals adding texture and volume.

She accessorized her look with a bright yellow quilted crossbody bag that had a gold chain strap, adding a playful touch and drawing out the golden tones of the floral print. For jewellery, Idia chose simple gold hoop earrings. For her shoes, she wore high-heeled sandals to provide the height necessary for such a dramatic hemline.

Her hair was styled by Dolledbyifyy in a low bun with face-framing tendrils left out at the front. Aisien’s makeup was done by Nosi Cape Town Mua, and the makeup featured warm tones, soft smoky eyeshadow, and a nude glossy lip, complementing the Tuscan-inspired theme of the afternoon.

Idia has always been intentional with her fashion choices. Earlier this year, she attended the Netflix Bridgerton set visit in London and wore a series of custom looks that leaned into old-world grandeur and structure, a completely different direction from the floral Trishocouture gown she wore in Cape Town. But the thinking behind both was the same. She read the room, dressed for the moment.
