GINGERRR’ Premiere Went Full Peaky Blinders
The premiere of ‘Gingerrr‘ brought cinema and fashion into the same together, with the reference for dress code as Peaky Blinders. Guests leaned into structure, layering, and monochromatic colours that radiates charisma.

Ini Dima styled by Okolo Obiechina of Swazzi
Ini Dima-Okojie arrived in white styled by Okolo Obiechina of Swazzi. Wide-leg trousers, a tailored coat, and a pearl-fringed hat set the tone, while the walking stick in her hand completed a look that was more character study than accessory play.

Lily Afegbai wearing LDM
Lily Afegbai chose a plaid suit from LDM that showed how sharply a pattern can be cut. The jacket carried sharp lines, trousers fell neatly over her shoes, and the whole suiting balanced strict tailoring with ease.

Bisola wearing SOMO
Bisola Aiyeola, who also produced the film, wore a custom SOMO design. Her structured dress ran perfectly into matching knee-high boots, the two pieces working together as if they were one continuous garment.

Adesua Etomi wearing House of Julyet Peters
Adesua Etomi made a return to public events in ivory from House of Julyet Peters. An overcoat layered on a sleeveless vest dress in fine wool, the minimalism of tone allowed the sharpness of cut to do the work.

Kie Kie wearing Soft AIV Couture
Kie Kie turned the theme into theatre with a trench coat from Soft AIV Couture. She leaned into the mafia-boss mood, a cigarette in mouth, and the attitude to make it convincing.

Timi Egbuson styled by Yomo Daj.
Timini Egbuson, delivered on the theme, styled by Yomo Daj. His three-piece tailored set mirrored the original Peaky Blinders look, from the proportion of the waistcoat to the fall of the trousers.

Bolaji Ogunmola wearing LDM
Bolaji Ogunmola, another co-producer, stood out in butter-yellow LDM tailoring. The three-piece carried the same formal cut, but the choice of colour gave it a memorable edge.
Every look on the carpet came back to detail: coats with weight, hats with authority, boots and cigars used not as accessories but as part of the language of the night. ‘Gingerrr’ asked for ‘Peaky Blinders,’ and the Lagos premiere delivered it with discipline and character.

Nancy Isime Reveals She May Not Have Children.
Nigerian actress and television host Nancy Isime has ignited online discussions after sharing her thoughts on parenthood, suggesting that she may choose not to have children.
The media personality made the remarks during a recent appearance on the “Thanks For Coming” podcast when she was asked about the number of children she hopes to have in the future. Instead of giving a direct answer, Isime reflected on the realities of life and the responsibilities that come with raising a child.

Photo: Instagram
According to her, the challenges people face daily have influenced the way she thinks about bringing children into the world. She questioned whether having children is always the ultimate expression of love, arguing that life often comes with struggles that no one can completely avoid.
During the discussion, Isime pointed to the pressures many individuals deal with, including emotional, financial and personal difficulties. She suggested that anyone considering parenthood must also think about the kind of world future generations will inherit. Her comments reflected a broader conversation that has gained attention globally, as some people increasingly weigh social and economic realities when making decisions about starting a family.
Despite her remarks, the actress did not say she has completely ruled out having children. Instead, she explained that her views are shaped by what she sees as the realities and responsibilities of bringing a child into the world, adding that every generation experiences its own form of hardship.

The interview quickly drew attention on social media, where clips of her comments circulated widely. While some users agreed with her perspective on the challenges of parenthood, others disagreed, arguing that the decision to have children is deeply personal.
Isime’s comments have continued to generate discussion online, with many viewers sharing differing opinions on her stance. However, the actress’s remarks stopped short of confirming a final decision, leaving her comments as a reflection on her current outlook rather than a definitive statement about whether she will become a mother.
