Ini Dima-Okojie announced the birth of her baby boy with husband Abasi Ene-Obong on Wednesday, and the way she broke the news was nothing like what her fans would expect. She turned 36 on June 24, 2026, and instead of her usual birthday routine, she shared something far more personal.

Those who follow Ini on Instagram know her birthday posts are always an elaborate affair;themed concepts, and carefully planned photoshoots. This year, none of that happened. She posted a few simple hospital photos of herself holding her newborn son, with a heartfelt caption.

Photo: Instagram

“Every year, my birthday comes with a photoshoot, glam, and a carefully planned concept. This year, none of that felt quite right. Instead, I’m sharing a photo from the day my son was born. The day my life changed forever. Because as special as every birthday has been, this one feels different. This year, I celebrate as a mother,” she wrote.

She did not stop there. “There is no role I have ever played that has humbled me, stretched me, challenged me, or filled my heart quite like this one. These past weeks have been some of the most beautiful, overwhelming, exhausting, and rewarding of my life.”

She called her son “the cutest boy with the sweetest dimples” and said getting to know him has been “the greatest gift.” She also admitted motherhood gave her a new respect for every woman raising a child. “The newborn phase is no joke, and I definitely didn’t fully understand what was waiting for me. But even on the hardest days, I wouldn’t trade this journey for anything.”

She wrapped it all up with: “I feel incredibly grateful that God chose me for this responsibility. Today, I celebrate another year of life, but even more than that, I celebrate the privilege of being his mum.”

Ini had announced her pregnancy back in April, sharing a post of herself in a flowing white gown showing off her baby bump. The comments section has since been filled with warm congratulations from fans and Nollywood colleagues sharing their love and well wishes for the new family.

Mr Eazi Reveals Reason Behind His Grey Hair.

Published

Nigerian singer and entrepreneur Mr Eazi has addressed the growing curiosity surrounding his grey hair, but not in the way many people expected. Rather than offering a serious explanation, the Afrobeats star responded with humour, turning an online conversation into a light-hearted moment that quickly caught the attention of fans.

In a recent TikTok video, Mr Eazi explained that someone approached him at an airport to ask about the noticeable change in his appearance. According to him, people had been debating the reason behind the grey strands, with different suggestions ranging from genetics to stress and even hair dye.

Photo: Instagram

Instead of confirming any of those theories, the singer chose a playful approach. He jokingly announced that he was a “Targaryen”, a reference to the fictional royal family from Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon, known for their distinctive silver hair. He also joked that he had been keeping the information from the public.

His response immediately stood out because it avoided giving a direct answer while acknowledging the conversations that had been taking place online. Throughout the video, he made it clear that he was aware of the public’s interest but did not confirm whether genetics, stress or any other factor was responsible for the change in his hair.

This is not the first time the musician has used humour to react to comments about his appearance. Earlier in the year, he shared another video in which he jokingly asked people to add “Sir” to his name after showing off his grey hair, saying he was no longer anybody’s mate. The remark sparked conversations among fans, many of whom responded with jokes of their own.

Although the discussion began with a simple question about his appearance, Mr Eazi’s response shifted attention from speculation to entertainment. By choosing humour over explanation, he avoided fuelling unverified claims while giving fans another memorable moment to talk about.

Despite the many theories circulating online, Mr Eazi has not confirmed an actual reason behind his grey hair. Instead, he has chosen to treat the conversation with humour, leaving the mystery unsolved while keeping the mood light.

Temi Otedola Ajibade’s baby shower photos dropped on June 20, 2026, and the internet still hasn’t been able to get over it. The actress and model, who is expecting her first child with husband Mr Eazi, hosted a swan-themed celebration that had everyone talking.

Photo: Instagram

The celebration featured swan-inspired details, including an invitation illustration and the words “Please join us in celebrating Baby Ajibade” set the tone before guests even arrived. Inside the venue, swan-shaped cookies, swan dessert figurines, and a layered cake sat on a dessert table filled with swan-inspired details. White box keepsakes were arranged in neat rows for guests, and champagne coupe glasses were stacked on a silver tray. The decor carried the swan theme throughout the celebration.

The colour story was soft and gentle. Sage green walls, muted drapery, ivory table linens, and light wooden chair made the setting calm but rich. L’Oréal Paris gift boxes tied with white ribbon bows appeared among the celebration details, adding a beauty touch to the occasion. Temi has been connected with the brand since becoming its first-ever African Digital Ambassador.

DJ Cuppy and Tolani Otedola were both present, and Temi’s post caption said it all: “Bebe, Your Aunty’s Love you Deeeeep.” Mr Eazi joined the celebration, with clips from the event showing the couple together.

Temi and Mr Eazi got married in 2025, with celebrations held across Monaco, Dubai, and Iceland.
