London in football season brings cold air and packed stadiums. At The Emirates, fans were energized while Arsenal played on the pitch, and Tiwa Savage drew attention with her outfit from the sidelines. The match may not have gone the Gunners’ way, yet Tiwa showed a leather look.

“Football teaches patience but even on an off day the fit still wins ⚽️,”

she wrote on Instagram, a playful nod to the loss and a salute to her outfit.

For her stadium appearance with rapper Odumodu Black, the Afrobeats star wore leather. She stepped out in a deep brown leather jacket with a relaxed, boxy shape, layered over a crisp white shirt and black tie, inspired by menswear styling.

The bottom half followed the same colour tone, with high-waisted leather trousers in black shade, tailored straight-leg. The monochrome look kept everything uniform.

Under her arm, a generously sized burgundy leather clutch added depth without breaking the colour coordination. Minimal jewellery and clean footwear maintained focus on the outfit’s key elements.

Her pixie cut and clean glam completed the look, part of her off-stage style.
With Odumodu Black by her side and thousands of fans in the stands, she drew attention with her fashion-forward appearance. Arsenal lost the match, but Tiwa Savage stood out in style.

Diane Russet Brings a New Mood to the Mini Dress

Published

Diane shared a series of pictures on her Instagram page on 11th May, sharing her point of view in slides. The filmmaker and reality TV star’s recent short hemline choice presents the mini dress with elegance. Bellanaija Styles calls it “the perfect girl’s night out outfit inspo.”

Photo – Instagram

She wore a burnt-orange mini dress featuring a structured bustier-style bodice with a clean sweetheart neckline, highlighted by a layer of plush, matching wispy feathers along the bust. The fitted shape gave way to sheer mesh, creating a beautiful contrast against her skin tone. The sheer material created an elongated silhouette that balanced the structure of the top.

Her accessories were kept minimal. She wore a gold bracelet. For a pop of colour, she paired the outfit with bright, metallic fuchsia-pink pointed-toe heeled mules that featured a sparkling crystal brooch at the front. Her hair was styled in bouncy waves with a deep side parting. Her makeup was natural with earthy tones and a glossy nude lip.

The look feels different from the floor-length silk gown she wore in March, which had a classic red-carpet feel. This time, she goes for a shorter hemline with sharper contrasts. It speaks to a growing preference in Lagos for shorter hemline, statement textures, and bolder evening pieces.

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu Does the Pinstripe Suit Differently

Published

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu attended the 12th anniversary of StyleVitae at Nomaada Lagos. The dress code for the event was “stylishly you,” and Ebuka understood the assignment and delivered accordingly, which is no surprise given how well he is known for his exquisite and creative approach to fashion.

Photo: Instagram

Ebuka arrived in a deconstructed, oversized navy-blue pinstripe suit. The double-breasted jacket had sweeping, dominant peak lapels and a dropped shoulder line that enhanced his frame without looking stiff. The jacket was left open to reveal a low-cut white tank top, which he wore underneath. He paired it with matching trousers that defy the traditional suiting way by flowing into a wide-leg, simple-flare silhouette that dropped down to the floor.

Photo: Instagram

He styled his look with a classic black wool beret worn over his forehead, and two large layered white fabric orchid corsages pinned boldly on his left peak lapel, this accessory acts as the highlight against the dark pinstripe fabric. He also wore clear-lens aviator glasses that added a hint of vintage charm to his face. Peeking out from the pooling hems of his flared trousers were sharp, dual-toned black-and-white pointed dress shoes. The bright white detail on the toes matched the suit’s stripes and floral lapel pins, pulling the whole look together from head to toe.

Pinstripe has always been a classic, but Ebuka made it feel like his own thing here. The beret, the floral corsage, the open jacket over a tank top, none of it was accidental. This was different compared to the teal suit and dark loafers he wore in late March, which had a much more relaxed feel to it.
