On September 2, 2026, Kava TV held the premiere of its first original film, “A Mama Deola Wedding Story.” The night’s theme was “White Wedding Couture,” and guests showed up in structured gowns, beaded corsets, and tailored suits built around the theme. Osas Ighodaro arrived in a nude corset gown by Veekee James, designed with a sheer, crystal-covered bodice and a full lace train with floral appliqué. She paired it with a tight low bun and diamond drop earrings.

August was packed with weddings, birthday shoots, and getaways for some of Nigeria’s biggest stars and they all showed up in style. Here’s a look at the best looks from the month, and what they wore.

Sharon Ooja

Sharon Ooja attended a friend’s military wedding in Abuja on August 23, 2026, wearing a custom-made light blue tweed skirt suit from Sevon Dejana, styled by Dahmola. The tailored peplum blazer had high shoulders, a standing collar, and a deep V-neckline with gold statement buttons, matched with a fitted skirt. The suit was covered in glittering leaf-like embroidery, with a feathered waist trim in purple and white, and a fabric train at the back. Her hair was a smooth, vintage-inspired updo, and her makeup was done by Glam by Uwa. She wore a layered gold necklace, door-knocker earrings, a chain bracelet, and nude ballet-style pumps.

For her birthday shoot, Teminikan wore a rust-orange pinstripe pantsuit by Oseyi Adams, with a double-breasted jacket, peak lapels, padded shoulders, flap pockets, and matching buttons, paired with high-waisted flared trousers. Out on a brunch outing in Paris, Delonyii wore an oversized white blazer over her shoulders, over a black scoop-neck cropped tank and fitted black shorts trimmed in white lace. Bimbo Ademoye

Leaning into black dandyism, Bimbo chose matching mocha-tan two-piece set: a blazer with broad shoulders that buttoned low at the waist, worn with wide-leg trousers cut high. Her hair was done in a long bone-straight wig by Hair by Tosin, and her makeup by Glam by Morgan combined earthy tones with a berry-red lip. Her accessories included a scarlet New York Yankees cap, a red Dolce & Gabbana trapezoidal bag, gold hoop earrings, a bracelet, and a few rings, finished with black leather loafers.

Medlin Boss spent weeks in Europe, from Paris before her birthday to Marbella, Spain, where she wore Dolce & Gabbana at La Cabane Marbella. Her look was a cropped bralette top with a sweetheart neckline in a pink, white, and purple majolica-style print, matched with a flared mini skirt finished with a hot pink hem border. In a post promoting her new project “Second Chances,” Uche Montana went with a baby pink gown by House of Moesha, with a thigh-high slit and a sheer cutout panel at the waist, matched with a feathered wrap draped over one shoulder. On 21 August, in what appears to be an outing, Yvonne Godswill wore a black gown by Yagi Wrld, with a cutout waist and one shoulder draped in fabric that swept down the opposite arm. Her hair was styled into a full, curly auburn updo, and her makeup was done in neutral shades with a nude lip. She kept her jewellery down to a single hoop earring.

Dede Ashiogwu recently shared new photos on her Instagram. The former Bigbrother Naija housemate was seen on a rooftop surrounded by palm trees and she captioned the post “Popped by to say hello.”

She was photographed in a cropped, white sleeveless rib-knit tank top with a scoop neckline and a hem cut short above the waist, leaving her midsection bare. She paired it with a low-rise, multicoloured crochet midi skirt featuring horizontal stripes in shades of orange, pink, yellow, red, black, and mint green, finished with a scalloped hemline and a knit drawstring at the hip.

Her hair was worn in a long, straight dark brown wig styled in a half-up, half-down look, smoothly pulled back away from the face. Her makeup was done in warm earthy tones and a glossy nude lip with dark liner. Earlier this August, she wore a baby pink off-shoulder top with a matching pleated mini skirt during a workout, styled with a blonde bob wig and lace-up pink heels. While the two outfits have different silhouettes and styling, both looks show Dede wearing skirts with fitted tops.
