Ceec and Alex Unusual Bring the Heat in Yellow
If dressing up according to seasons were a game, Ceec and Alex Unusual would take the trophy home. Whenever you think of warm months, the first colour that comes to mind is yellow, it’s associated with sunshine, vacation, fun and these two ladies understood the assignment perfectly.

Ceec summer preview outfit
Ceec got her fans drooling with her summer preview outfit. It featured a sheer yellow mesh top layered over a printed bikini bra, paired with a fuzzy yellow mini skirt that was flirtatiously tied at both sides. What completed the whole vacation look were those cute flowers. Her hair was styled in soft waves, and her makeup was so light that it was almost as if she did just lash extensions and micro blading. It’s giving a day at the beach with a sultry twist.

Alex unusual two-piece crochet outfit
Alex Unusual embraced summer in a handcrafted yellow crochet two-piece. She wore a yellow halter top that was tied around her neck, showing off her shoulders. But what caught our attention was the knitted floral-patterned piece. The outfit hugged her figure in all the right places, highlighting her well toned abs. She’s on her clean-girl aesthetic era, wearing no makeup and letting her natural ebony skin glisten under the sunlight like the goddess she is.
Together, both women made one thing clear, like an unspoken rule “yellow is the colour for sunny days” and we can all agree with that. Their outfits may be different in style, but both looks passed the same message—bold fashion choices with beautiful textures, a perfect mix for hot girl season.
Beyond the outfits, there’s something about how Ceec and Alex radiated confidence. They didn’t just throw on bright colors; they owned every inch of their look, and that’s what made it stand out.
Final Thoughts
So, if you’ve been looking for a sign to embrace bright colours this season, consider this it. Whether you’re heading to the beach, planning a quick getaway, or just want to feel good and look pretty under the Lagos sun, let yellow be your go-to. Take notes from Ceec and Alex—because when it comes to serving looks, these ladies are always on point.

Tiwa Savage is not slowing down. The Queen of Afrobeats recently hit 800 million streams on Spotify and launched her own music foundation to support and mentor the next generation of African artists. That extends to her music is the same one she brings to her fashion choices. Her style has leaned into bolder styling over the years, and her latest look which she shared on Instagram on April 9, 2026, with the caption “She doesn’t step out, but when she does it’s a moment”.

Tiwa wore an avant-garde black floor-length gown that had a high neckline and long sleeves, creating a covered upper half that contrasts sharply to the lower half. Over the dress she layered it with a bolero jacket with hundreds of layers of 3D florals. In addition the dress had a thigh-high slit that gave it a modern touch.

It is a completely different direction from the white off-the-shoulder corseted gown she wore to “The Return Of Arinzo” premiere just days earlier, and that contrast says allot about her personal style. She can go from sculptural bridal white to warm brown grunge, and both times, the looks felt well thought through.
