Omowunmi Dada attended the Black Market premiere in Lagos on September 26, 2026, in a turquoise and black outfit. The screening was held at Tafawa Balewa Square, where more than 51,000 people gathered and set a new Guinness World Record for the largest attendance at a film screening in a single location.

Omowunmi acts in the film, where she plays Adesua, and she is also one of its executive producers. The record-setting premiere took place at the same ground where Nigeria declared independence in 1960.

She wore a turquoise cropped top with a square neckline and long sleeves. The top featured raised, puffed shoulders and the sleeves narrowed down to the wrists. Black triangle-shaped patches were stitched across the chest, shoulders and sleeves, each one edged with small beads. The top was made by House of Maysam.

She paired it with high-waisted black trousers that were wide through the hips and tapered towards the ankles. She completed the look with black pointed-toe pumps.

She accessorized with a black crocodile-embossed YSL envelope clutch featuring a gold logo, tinted sunglasses, gold hoop earrings, a thin chain, a wristwatch and rings. She wore her honey-blonde bob in a side-swept style by Mariegold.

Creative director and stylist Kingsley Okoye Rex put the look together she captioned the Instagram post “Let’s go break record Nigeria.”

Black Market is a crime drama directed by Fatimah Binta Gimsay and shot in Abeokuta. It follows five market women who run a cross-border smuggling business during a fuel scarcity. Their lives change when one of their daughters is kidnapped and they have to risk everything to get her back. The film was produced by Rixel Studios in collaboration with FilmOne Studios and Signet Ring Studios, and Nora Awolowo is one of its producers. Omowunmi stars alongside Linda Ejiofor-Suleiman, Scarlet Gomez, Teniola Aladese, Susan Pwajok and Lateef Adedimeji.

Sharon Ooja was at TVC Communications to talk about “Ordinary People”, the new Netflix series that premiered on September 4. For the visit, she wore a short red dress with velvet patches.

The dress was from loveladybiba. It came with a zip-down at the front, a fitted waist and a flared shape over the hips, the dress stopped above her knees. Dark red velvet patches covered the shoulders and the hem, while the rest of the dress remained plain red.

She accessorized with a small red quilted handbag with gold hardware and wore glossy red peep-toe heels. Her jewellery was simple, just gold earrings and a few rings.

Her hair was done by Solange Hair Stores in loose waves that fell past her shoulders. Her makeup, by annabelsglam, had warm tones on the eyes and a soft lip colour.

“Ordinary People” is an eight-episode series directed by Moses Inwang. It follows a criminal on the run and his wife, who pose as bakers in Mirage Estate, a gated community where their neighbours are undercover agents. Sharon stars alongside Ramsey Nouah, Chidi Mokeme, Adunni Ade, Uche Montana and Jackie Appiah. On Instagram, she said the cast enjoyed a warm welcome, interviews and radio sessions at TVC, and she thanked fans for the love so far. The series is still showing on Netflix and Nollyflix.

A few days ago, she arrived at Channels TV in a khaki crop suit by Bfyne. The blazer had fringe on one shoulder, and the high-waisted wide-leg trousers matched it. She wore black pointed heels, carried a black quilted handbag and added large gold earrings, with her hair in loose crimped waves. The suit was a calmer colour than the red she wore to TVC.

Tems wore a black strapless dress with a thin beaded trim across the top and a skirt that fell straight down to her ankles. She wore her hair in a half-up curly style, added drop earrings and a bracelet, and wore a dark plum lip colour.

While on the other hand, Kim wore a chocolate brown leather dress with a corset-style top and lace-up detail running down one side of the skirt. Grommets lined the opening diagonally, and the dress was fitted at the waist. Tems’ dress stayed flat through the fabric, while Kim’s had more structure built into the top half, with the leather giving it a harder texture than the soft material Tems wore.

Here, the two dresses appeared together without clashing. Both women kept their outfits dark and fitted, with no bright colour or print in either look.

The photos were taken at the opening of SKIMS’ first flagship store outside the United States, a two-floor space designed by Rafael de Cárdenas that included a large sculpture by artist Vanessa Beecroft near the entrance. Kim co-founded SKIMS with Jens Grede in 2019, and the London store opened during London Fashion Week on a ten-year lease with the Crown Estate. Guests were served cocktails and food, with a DJ set from model Kim Turnbull before a private dinner later in the night.

Tems was among the guests at the event, along with other names from music and fashion, including Central Cee, Troye Sivan, Kim Petras, Ellie Bamber, and designer Kim Jones. SKIMS has said it plans to open more than 100 stores worldwide by 2027.
