XclusivStarsng Exclusive Look at Mercy Eke’s Style

Published

on

Mercy Eke, the undisputed “Queen of Highlights, “doesn’t just own the Big Brother Naija crown, she also reigns supreme in the fashion world. Whether she’s slaying the runway, turning heads on the red carpet, or just running errands in Lagos, Mercy’s style is a masterclass in confidence, versatility, and pure glam.

From jaw-dropping couture to effortlessly chic streetwear, Mercy’s wardrobe is a treasure trove of inspiration. So, let’s dive into the fashion evolution of Nigeria’s reality TV sweetheart, because if there’s one thing Mercy does better than stirring drama, it’s serving looks.

Runway Royalty: A Debut to Remember

Mercy didn’t just walk onto the runway, she owned it. Her debut at Lagos Fashion Week was nothing short of iconic. Dressed in a bold, curve-hugging gown with dramatic ruffles and a thigh-high slit, she proved that reality TV stars can absolutely hold their own among high-fashion models.

The look? A perfect blend of fierce and feminine. The attitude? “I wasn’t invited, I just showed up and took over.” And honestly? We wouldn’t expect anything less from the Queen of Highlights.

Iconic Homage: Halloween with a High-Fashion Twist

Mercy’s Halloween game is as strong as her ability to win reality shows. One year, she paid tribute to Morticia Addams, but with a Mercy Eke twist. Instead of the usual gloomy black dress, she opted for a sleek, body-hugging gown with a plunging neckline and those signature long, dark nails.

The result? Equal parts spooky and seductive. Because if you’re going to dress up as a fictional character, why not make sure you outshine the original?

Bridal Beauty: Inspiring Wedding Day Elegance

Though Mercy hasn’t walked down the aisle (yet), her bridal-inspired photoshoots give us a glimpse of what her big day might look like. In one stunning shoot, she wore a fitted mermaid gown with intricate lace detailing and a long, flowing train. The makeup? Soft, romantic, and glowing, because even on her wedding day, Mercy would never be caught overdoing the highlight. (Okay, maybe just a little.)

Her bridal aesthetic? Timeless elegance with a touch of drama, because what’s a wedding without a little “wow” factor?

Everyday Chic: Mastering Casual Elegance

Mercy’s secret? She makes effortless look effortful. Even in casual wear, she’s serving looks. Think:

– Bodycon dresses to perfection, paired with heels because “flats are for the weak.”

– Denim blazers with biker shorts, because who says you can’t be cozy and sexy at the same time?

– jumpsuit-chic style, because if you’re going anywhere simple, you might as well look like you’re heading to a photoshoot.

Her off-duty style proves that you don’t need a red carpet to dress like a star, just confidence and a really good tailor.

Fashion Philosophy: Confidence and Self-Expression

Mercy’s style isn’t just about trends, it’s about attitude. In her own words:

“Fashion is how I express myself. If I feel good in it, I wear it, whether people like it or not.”

And that’s the key to her appeal. Whether she’s in a couture gown or a simple jeans-and-crop-top combo, Mercy wears every outfit like it’s her last. Because at the end of the day, the best accessory isn’t a designer bag, it’s confidence.

Entrepreneurial Flair: MNM Luxury

Of course, Mercy isn’t just a fashion icon, she’s also a savvy businesswoman. Her luxury wig line, MNM Luxury, offers high-quality hairpieces that are as glamorous as she is. Because if anyone knows the power of a good wig, it’s the Queen of Highlights herself.

From lace fronts to bold, colorful units, MNM Luxury caters to women who want to slay hard, just like Mercy.

Mercy Eke’s fashion sense is a mix of daring, elegance, and unapologetic self-love. Whether she’s turning a red carpet into her personal runway or making sweatpants look high-fashion, one thing is clear:

She doesn’t follow trends, she sets them.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why the Queen of Highlights will always be that girl.

Chioma Ikokwu attended the Premiere for “The Return Of Arinzo” on March 30, 2026. She didn’t just walk the red carpet, she made a strong impression with three distinct outfit changes. Known to her fans as Chioma Goodhair, the entrepreneur moved from traditional regal velvet to a modern, hand-beaded style. From entrepreneur to actor, each look custom-made and rooted in African identity. Here is a breakdown of the three custom looks that stole the show.

For her first look, which was themed “First Lady”, she wore a regal, custom-made deep burgundy velvet floor-length gown designed by Sevon Dejana. The dress featured an off-shoulder mermaid silhouette with structure and detailing at the hips and shoulders. The gown was decorated with gold beaded branch-like patterns dropping down the body. Her hair was styled by Adefunkee in a smooth, bob tucked under a matching burgundy turban from Eminence Mez. Her makeup was done by Tolu Felix, with warm-toned eyeshadow, a sharp winged liner, and a glossy, deep-rose lip. Chioma switched things up with her second look, which she called “First Lady Extraordinaire” she blended traditional Cameroonian craft with avant-garde maximalist style. Ikokwu wore a custom-made “Toghu-inspired” velvet cape gown. The centerpiece was a large colourful Toghu embroidery panel on the chest, featuring traditional Cameroonian patterns. The cape was trimmed with rows of white cowrie shells. Her hair was tucked neatly under a matching black velvet turban from Eminence Mez, providing a regal finish. Chioma’s makeup, done by Tolu Felix included sharp eyeliner and a bold lip. For accessories she wore gold and red earrings.

Her third look, which was for the after-party designed by Djec Fashion, she went with something more simpler compared to her first two outfits. She wore a bodycon mermaid gown with a daring halter-neckline. The dress was entirely hand beaded with tiny burnt orange and red crystals that transitioned into emerald green at the hem. Her hair was styled in retro waves, her makeup included warm earthy tones. Chioma accessorized her look with gold bangles. She finished the look with classic strappy heels.

Idia Aisien Gives Floral Energy

Published

Photo: Instagram

Idia Aisien has been in Cape Town since late March. The actress and media personality was among the guests at Universal Pictures’ promotional event for their upcoming romantic comedy “You, Me & Tuscany”, starring Halle Bailey and Regé-Jean Page. Idia showed up to the film event and made her outfit the headline. She shared the photos on Instagram on March 31, 2026, with the caption “Can i get a little commotion for the dress and glam squad”.

Photo: Instagram

Idia arrived at the event in a floral-print gown from Trishocouture. The gown’s bodice had a high neckline and long sleeves in sheer fabric printed with orange, yellow, and green floral patterns. It was artfully draped and fitted at the waist to create a defined shape. The lower half of the gown flowed into a floor-sweeping maxi skirt. It featured layered tulle ruffles and embroidered petals adding texture and volume.

She accessorized her look with a bright yellow quilted crossbody bag that had a gold chain strap, adding a playful touch and drawing out the golden tones of the floral print. For jewellery, Idia chose simple gold hoop earrings. For her shoes, she wore high-heeled sandals to provide the height necessary for such a dramatic hemline.

Her hair was styled by Dolledbyifyy in a low bun with face-framing tendrils left out at the front. Aisien’s makeup was done by Nosi Cape Town Mua, and the makeup featured warm tones, soft smoky eyeshadow, and a nude glossy lip, complementing the Tuscan-inspired theme of the afternoon.

Idia has always been intentional with her fashion choices. Earlier this year, she attended the Netflix Bridgerton set visit in London and wore a series of custom looks that leaned into old-world grandeur and structure, a completely different direction from the floral Trishocouture gown she wore in Cape Town. But the thinking behind both was the same. She read the room, dressed for the moment.
