XclusivStarsng Exclusive Look at Mercy Eke’s Style

Mercy Eke, the undisputed “Queen of Highlights, “doesn’t just own the Big Brother Naija crown, she also reigns supreme in the fashion world. Whether she’s slaying the runway, turning heads on the red carpet, or just running errands in Lagos, Mercy’s style is a masterclass in confidence, versatility, and pure glam.
From jaw-dropping couture to effortlessly chic streetwear, Mercy’s wardrobe is a treasure trove of inspiration. So, let’s dive into the fashion evolution of Nigeria’s reality TV sweetheart, because if there’s one thing Mercy does better than stirring drama, it’s serving looks.
Runway Royalty: A Debut to Remember
Mercy didn’t just walk onto the runway, she owned it. Her debut at Lagos Fashion Week was nothing short of iconic. Dressed in a bold, curve-hugging gown with dramatic ruffles and a thigh-high slit, she proved that reality TV stars can absolutely hold their own among high-fashion models.
The look? A perfect blend of fierce and feminine. The attitude? “I wasn’t invited, I just showed up and took over.” And honestly? We wouldn’t expect anything less from the Queen of Highlights.

Iconic Homage: Halloween with a High-Fashion Twist
Mercy’s Halloween game is as strong as her ability to win reality shows. One year, she paid tribute to Morticia Addams, but with a Mercy Eke twist. Instead of the usual gloomy black dress, she opted for a sleek, body-hugging gown with a plunging neckline and those signature long, dark nails.
The result? Equal parts spooky and seductive. Because if you’re going to dress up as a fictional character, why not make sure you outshine the original?

Bridal Beauty: Inspiring Wedding Day Elegance
Though Mercy hasn’t walked down the aisle (yet), her bridal-inspired photoshoots give us a glimpse of what her big day might look like. In one stunning shoot, she wore a fitted mermaid gown with intricate lace detailing and a long, flowing train. The makeup? Soft, romantic, and glowing, because even on her wedding day, Mercy would never be caught overdoing the highlight. (Okay, maybe just a little.)
Her bridal aesthetic? Timeless elegance with a touch of drama, because what’s a wedding without a little “wow” factor?

Everyday Chic: Mastering Casual Elegance
Mercy’s secret? She makes effortless look effortful. Even in casual wear, she’s serving looks. Think:
– Bodycon dresses to perfection, paired with heels because “flats are for the weak.”

– Denim blazers with biker shorts, because who says you can’t be cozy and sexy at the same time?

Mercy in denim jacket and biker’s short
– jumpsuit-chic style, because if you’re going anywhere simple, you might as well look like you’re heading to a photoshoot.

Her off-duty style proves that you don’t need a red carpet to dress like a star, just confidence and a really good tailor.
Fashion Philosophy: Confidence and Self-Expression
Mercy’s style isn’t just about trends, it’s about attitude. In her own words:
“Fashion is how I express myself. If I feel good in it, I wear it, whether people like it or not.”
And that’s the key to her appeal. Whether she’s in a couture gown or a simple jeans-and-crop-top combo, Mercy wears every outfit like it’s her last. Because at the end of the day, the best accessory isn’t a designer bag, it’s confidence.

Entrepreneurial Flair: MNM Luxury
Of course, Mercy isn’t just a fashion icon, she’s also a savvy businesswoman. Her luxury wig line, MNM Luxury, offers high-quality hairpieces that are as glamorous as she is. Because if anyone knows the power of a good wig, it’s the Queen of Highlights herself.
From lace fronts to bold, colorful units, MNM Luxury caters to women who want to slay hard, just like Mercy.

Mercy Eke’s fashion sense is a mix of daring, elegance, and unapologetic self-love. Whether she’s turning a red carpet into her personal runway or making sweatpants look high-fashion, one thing is clear:
She doesn’t follow trends, she sets them.
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why the Queen of Highlights will always be that girl.

Samod Koyin & Kola Omotoso Suit Up in Emmy Kasbit for Lagos Fashion Week
At Lagos Fashion Week 2025, former BBNaija Season 10 housemates Samod Koyin and Kola Omotoso made confident entrances in custom designs from Nigerian brand Emmy Kasbit, reaffirming the label’s steady rise in contemporary menswear.

Koyin – Instagram
Koyin arrived in a black two-piece set patterned with the brand’s signature monogram. The sleeveless top was matched with straight-cut trousers, creating a clean, structured look that stood out for its precision rather than embellishment. He kept his accessories understated, wearing silver jewellery and black leather shoes, giving the outfit room to register on its own. The look quickly appeared across Lagos Fashion Week photo reels and entertainment pages.

Kola – Instagram
Kola chose a navy three-piece from the same designer, detailed with hand-dyed stripes across the waistcoat. The design referenced Nigerian textile craft while keeping a sharp, modern outline. Worn with a crisp high-neck shirt, the outfit blended cultural texture with measured tailoring.
Their choice of designer was deliberate. Emmy Kasbit, under creative director Emmanuel Okoro, continues to build a reputation for weaving Nigerian heritage into refined, contemporary forms. The brand uses locally produced fabrics and modern tailoring to create clothing that reflects identity while maintaining universal appeal.

Koyin – Instagram
Lagos Fashion Week offered the right setting for that expression. The event, now a fixture on Africa’s fashion calendar, attracts industry professionals, buyers, and journalists each year. Having Koyin and Omotoso wear Emmy Kasbit on one of the biggest nights of the week put the label at the center of local and international attention. Their appearance aligned with a broader shift in Nigerian fashion, where designers and personalities choose authenticity and skill over spectacle.

Kola – Instagram
Online, photos from the night spread fast. Style pages and blogs highlighted both men as examples of how Nigerian designers are redefining menswear through craftsmanship and thoughtful presentation. It wasn’t an overplayed moment; it was a clear one: Nigerian men can attend major fashion events in locally made pieces that rival anything produced abroad.
For Emmy Kasbit, it was another visible win in a growing portfolio. For Koyin and Omotoso, it marked a step toward owning a style narrative rooted in identity and intention.

There’s Something About Black Women and Fringe and Big Hair,’ Says Sharon Ooja
If there’s anyone who truly understands how to pull off fringe and voluminous hair as if they’re made just for her, it’s Sharon Ooja, and this recent outfit left wondering why we don’t see more of this.

Sharon Ooja: Instagram
Sharon posted on Instagram in a mini black dress that halted everyone mid-scroll. It had geometric patches, pieces of burgundy and tan sewn together across the fabric. But it was that fringe at the bottom that brought it to life. The sort that injects movement and texture, without overwhelming the rest of the look. She kept the sleeveless silhouette simple, which was probably the perfect choice. With all that texture and print going on, the dress didn’t require anything extra vying for attention.

Sharon Ooja: Instagram
Here’s what made everything click: her hair. Sharon wore her natural curls big, voluminous, and completely unfiltered. There’s something about Black women with voluminous hair that refuses to shrink itself. It’s powerful in a way that carried a hint of retro flair.
The outfit had that retro flair too. This was not simply Sharon flaunting yet another look. It was a reminder of how it feels to lean into texture, movement, and your own natural beauty. Only Black women understand this. Some outfits are about clothing. This was about knowing what works and wearing it as if it’s yours.
