Yvonne Godswill posted a series of photos on Instagram in a blazer and a fringe skirt, showing how the two pieces work together instead of clashing. The content creator wore a stylish taupe blazer and skirt set from Her Luxury, with styling by Omoye The Creator. The structured top half and the loose, swinging fringe below gave the outfit two different moods. Her caption, “Allergic to not getting what I want,” fitted the shoot’s energy, confident, cool, and unbothered.

The blazer featured an exaggerated, sharp pointed collar, long form-fitting sleeves, and a deep plunging neckline. The waistband was tightly fitted by a distinctive metallic gold clasp, framing the silhouette before extending into thick, tubular fabric strands. These matching taupe strands fell from the blazer’s hem and her underlying mini-skirt all the way to the floor, spreading out wide at her feet.

Her hair was styled into a flawless, high-shine low ponytail with carefully laid, swooping baby hairs decorating her hairline. Her makeup was done in warm tones with a glossy, lined neutral lip, and she accessorized with minimalist chunky gold hoop earrings. Yvonne completed her look with pointed-toe nude stiletto pumps that blended with her skin tone, the fringe brushing past them with every shift in her pose. The shoot was captured by photographer Peter Stonee.

Yvonne has described her style as minimalist and comfortable, with clean lines and neutral colours she can wear in different ways. Days earlier, she wore a zip-up crop top and flared trousers set from Ya Li Wrld, captioning the post, “A big fan of whoever I AM.” While the outfits were different, both featured matching sets and tailored pieces.

Diiadem Gives Ruffles a Bold New Identity in MSO Lagos.

Business entrepreneur, lifestyle influencer and The Real Housewives of Lagos star Adeola Adeyemi, popularly known as Diiadem, shared images on her Instagram page on July 5, 2026, where she stepped out in an ivory midi gown by MSO Lagos. The look centred on dramatic ruffle detailing.

The ivory midi gown featured oversized layered ruffles that covered the entire dress from the high neckline to the hem. Instead of using sequins, embroidery or prints, the beauty of the dress came from its layered design. The ruffles varied in size and direction, creating depth throughout the dress.

The high neckline flowed into full ruffled sleeves, while the uneven hem revealed part of her legs, balancing the volume of the upper half with a lighter finish below.

She paired the outfit with gold strappy heeled sandals that added a metallic touch, complementing the dress. She also wore bold gold drop earrings while keeping the rest of her accessories minimal. Her hair was styled in a high ponytail that framed her face neatly. Her makeup was done by Glam and Glow Makeup artistry, featuring lightly contoured cheeks and a glossy nude lip.

MSO Lagos used the Ivory Meadow design to explore texture through carefully layered ruffles that created shape and movement. In its caption, the brand described Diiadem as “strong as a flame, delicate as a flower,” presenting the look as a balance of strength and softness.

In her last outing in June she stepped out in a flowing white gown with a long train, a cream turban and a silver purse. That appearance leaned into soft glamour, while the Ivory Meadow design shifts the focus to sculptural ruffles and texture.

Idia Aisien Turns Herself Into a Living Garden for Her Birthday Photos

Idia Aisien is celebrating her 35th birthday today, July4, 2026, and as expected she didn’t let the day pass quietly. The actress, model and TV host marked it with a photoshoot straight out of a storybook.

For this year’s shoot, Idia posed in an old European-style garden, roses climbing the walls, stone statues standing guard, archways covered in climbing greenery. Her gown for the day was a floor length, strapless piece cut close to the body, made from a sheer, skin toned mesh sitting over a nude bodice. Flowers covered almost every inch of it, done up to look like they were growing straight out of the fabric, with green vines running through as well.

Big pink, blue and white roses were packed tightly around her chest area, providing coverage. Further down, the flowers thinned out and left room for leaves and ivy to take over, winding round her thighs before forming a dense trail of greenery at her feet.

Her hair was in long, dark waves parted at the centre, soft curls resting on her back and shoulders, paired with make in nude tones. She kept the jewellery minimal, just a stack of gold and diamond bracelets on one wrist and a plain ring. As for shoes, they were buried underneath all that foliage at the bottom of the dress.

This birthday also follows a busy year for Idia professionally. Back in December, she officially launched Rich Sleep, her own sleepwear and loungewear label made in Nigeria. The launch marked her entry into the fashion business after years of working as a model, actress and TV host. Between her role in “Secrets Of The Heart”, her work with The IDIA Project, and now a fashion brand to her name, Idia has clearly been busy adding new titles to her already long list.

If you remember, last year Idia turned 34 in a gold gown inside the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles, all shine and sparkle. This year, she swapped the gold for flowers and greenery. Two different looks, but the same Idia, always finding a new way to make her birthday unforgettable.

For his first appearance, he wore a two-piece outfit by Trax Apparel a cropped, long-sleeved jacket and matching high-waisted flared trousers. The jacket featured blocks of olive green, navy blue, deep red and yellow, with abstract face designs on the front that gave it a rooted look. He paired the outfit with a black cowboy hat, dark sunglasses and cowrie-shell rings.

The look combined bold colours with structured tailoring, while carefully selected accessories completed the outfit.

For his second look, Akin Faminu switched to a coordinated brown outfit that combined traditional dressing with modern tailoring. He wore a loose-fitting long-sleeved top with wide sleeves, paired with high-waisted wide-leg trousers. A matching wrap detail around the waist added structure to the outfit while maintaining its relaxed silhouette. He paired it with brown Yoruba fila finished with a side fringe, tinted sunglasses, layered necklaces, gold bracelets and statement rings, wearing a brown woven leather slip-on loafers, keeping the entire appearance within the same earthy palette.

Fashion has remained an important part of Akin Faminu’s public identity for several years. Beyond his work as a medical doctor, he has built a reputation for championing African designers and presenting traditional craftsmanship in contemporary ways. Whether attending fashion weeks, award ceremonies or cultural events, his outfits often combine modern tailoring with details that reference Africa’s rich heritage, making each appearance part of a broader fashion conversation.

Akin Faminu has long used fashion as an extension of his public identity. Across international appearances, he has consistently highlighted African designers and their work, and his latest Paris Fashion Week outfits continued that tradition through two different styles of menswear.
