Augustine Miles Kelechi, known professionally as Tekno, is a renowned Nigerian musician, singer, songwriter, and music producer who has made significant waves in the Afrobeat and Afropop genres. Born on December 17, 1992, in Bauchi State, Nigeria. Tekno hails from Ebonyi State, Nigeria.

Early Life and Education

Tekno grew up in a large family with his father serving in the Nigerian Army, which led him to experience various cultures across Nigeria.

His early exposure to music was instrumental in shaping his career. At a young age, Tekno learned to play the piano and guitar, and his father’s support was crucial in nurturing his musical talent as he enrolled him in a music school at age 8.

Tekno gained initial recognition with his single “Holiday” featuring Davido in 2012.

His major breakthrough came with the hit song “Duro” in 2013, which cemented his status as a prominent Nigerian artist.
