BBNaija Season 10: Imisi Crowned Winner After 70 Days in the House

The curtain finally fell on Big Brother Naija Season 10 on Sunday night, and it was Imisioluwa “Imisi” Ayanwale who walked away with the top prize. After more than 70 days in the house, 29 contestants, and countless twists, the 25-year-old stood center stage as the confetti fell, securing 42.8% of the total votes.
The finale was as tense as expected. One by one, housemates were evicted until only two remained: Imisi and Precious “Dede” Ashiogwu. When host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu announced Imisi’s name, the crowd erupted. It was a finish that many had predicted, but few thought would be this decisive. Dede finished as the runner-up, with Koyin taking third place.
The win came with a total prize package worth ₦150 million, including ₦80 million in cash and a lineup of brand-sponsored gifts. It’s one of the biggest rewards in the show’s history, and the kind that can reshape a contestant’s career overnight.
This season wasn’t short of drama. A few weeks before the finale, Faith’s disqualification after a physical clash with Sultana sent shockwaves through the house and the audience. The incident forced Big Brother to make a swift decision and became one of the most talked-about moments of the season. It also seemed to shift public sympathy, with many fans rallying around housemates who handled the tension with restraint, Imisi among them.
Her journey to the crown wasn’t built on outbursts or grand gestures. She connected with viewers through her humor, calm reactions, and a steady sense of composure even when alliances fell apart. Her diary sessions revealed a mix of self-awareness and authenticity that resonated with a wide audience, especially during the later weeks when emotions were running high.
Still, her victory sparked debate. Social media split between those celebrating a well-deserved win and others suggesting that sympathy votes played a role. Yet the numbers told their own story: a gap wide enough to silence most of the criticism.
As she begins her media rounds and endorsement tours, Imisi joins the short list of women who have won the BBNaija title. Her next moves will determine whether she becomes another fleeting reality-show name or a lasting figure in entertainment. But for now, she holds the spotlight, the newest face of Nigeria’s most-watched reality show and the latest proof that quiet confidence can still win in a house built on noise.

BBNaija 10: Week 8 Shock Evictions and Unmissable Moments

Big Brother Naija Season 10 kept viewers on edge in Week 8, with evictions that no one saw coming and twists that shook the house. From Zita’s rise as Head of House to a nomination shake up that left Isabella vulnerable, the week had everything fans of the show crave: strategy, surprise and high drama.
Zita Takes Charge as Head of House
Zita claimed the Head of House crown, earning immunity and the right to influence nominations. She chose Kola to join her in the HOH lounge. That decision raised questions about whether new alliances were beginning to form. Faith, named “Most Influential Player” the week before, also enjoyed immunity, keeping him safe from possible eviction.
The Red Envelope Shake Up
The nomination process got a major twist with the introduction of the red envelope challenge. Housemates dashed around searching for envelopes that carried different advantages. Imisi secured immunity through one of them, while Zita used her “Save One” privilege to pull Rooboy off the nomination list. Isabella, labelled the “Snail of the House” after underperforming in a task, was automatically placed up for eviction.
Evictions That Changed the Game
The week’s biggest surprise came with the evictions. On Saturday night, Bright Morgan and Thelma Lawson were shown the door in an unexpected double eviction. Just a day later, the Sunday live show sent Joanna and Kuture home, cutting short their journeys in the house.
Joanna’s exit came with tough questions from Ebuka about her relationship with Jason Jae. Fans continued to debate her answers long after the show ended. Kuture faced remarks about being tagged as a gossip in the house but brushed them off without hesitation.
Conclusion
Between Zita’s leadership, the unpredictable red envelope twist, and the double eviction weekend, Week 8 was easily one of the season’s most dramatic stretches. It showed just how quickly fortunes can change, with power shifting hands and favourites leaving the game in a flash.
As the finale draws closer, Week 8 has set a clear message: in Big Brother’s house, no one is safe.
Big Brother Naija
BBNaija Season 10: The Vibes, Drama and Surprises of Week 7

Just when fans thought they had the housemates figured out, Week 7 of Big Brother Naija Season 10 arrived with sharp turns, shocking exits, and enough drama to keep everyone glued to their screens.
Thelma Takes Charge
Thelma Lawson grabbed the Head of House crown, with Mide chosen as her deputy. That win guaranteed them both safety, while Kaybobo rose to the title of Most Influential Player. Still, the politics of immunity did not silence growing tension inside the house.
The Red Telephone Strikes Again

The infamous red phone rang, and Dede was first to answer. Joanna was sent into the Secret Room, with Rooboy joining soon after. What looked like a punishment turned into luxury: takeout meals, special perks and an enviable chance to watch the house from a distance. Their return set off hugs, suspicion and more than a little envy among those who had slogged it out on the main floor.
Fights, Tears and Petty Wars
The week was not short on clashes. Faith branded Imisi a “threat” who lacked self-discipline, while Isabella broke down after Koyin dismissed their connection as nothing serious. Sultana’s hidden stash of cigarettes caused whispers, and Imisi stirred trouble by hoarding spoons in protest. Even Thelma’s reign as HoH did not escape scrutiny, with some housemates grumbling about how she handled chores and parties.
Love, Loyalty and Jealousy
Relationships remained messy. Dede and Kola’s bond faced fresh tension, while the return of the Secret Room pair triggered mixed feelings, joy for some and jealousy for others.
Double Eviction Shakes the House
Sunday night delivered the week’s biggest twist as Tracy and Denari were evicted in a double exit that rocked the house. Their departure jolted alliances and reminded viewers that no one, no matter how popular, is untouchable.
Takeaway: Week 7 proved that nothing in Big Brother Naija is guaranteed. With double evictions, secret privileges, and shifting loyalties, the race is tightening. And just as the dust settled, Week 8 opened with a fresh shake-up: Koyin grabbed the interim HoH crown and stunned the house with his guest pick, setting the stage for yet another round of drama.
