Chioma Good Hair Slays in Black and Gold Elegance

Published

on

There’s just something about Nigerian fashionistas and black outfits, they know how to make it look like luxury itself. And when Chioma Good Hair steps into the picture? It’s fashion served hot with zero stress. Chioma keeps reminding us why she’s not just a beauty and business mogul, but a full-time fashion killer.

When Chioma Good Hair steps out, best believe she’s not just serving looks, she’s feeding the entire fashion industry. And this time? She didn’t just eat; she left no crumbs.

Dressed in an all-black ensemble that looked like it belonged on a private runway in Banana Island, Chioma gave us everything: elegance, drama, and “soft life” vibes wrapped in one look.

Draped in layers of rich, flowing black fabric, the fashion mogul gave us the kind of “rich aunty” energy that makes you want to respect yourself and rearrange your entire wardrobe.

The layered black fabric flowed with a rhythm of its own, airy yet structured, with ruffled edges that added volume without swallowing her figure. It was giving “fashion with a purpose,” and we were locked in.

Let’s break it down, shall we?

Chioma’s outfit was an all-black symphony, dramatic without doing too much, classy without trying too hard. The layered detailing on the outfit added dimension and flair, floating with that “I don’t rush for anyone” elegance. It was saying fashion week meets at a private estate in Banana Island. The sheer black drape on one side? Pure drama. And we’re here for every inch of it.

Now, let’s talk about that turban, because, wow. She wrapped it in a way that screamed “I own my crown” without even saying a word. Turbans can be tricky, but Chioma turned hers into a statement piece. Effortlessly bold, perfectly styled, and unapologetically regal.

And sis didn’t stop there.

The accessories? Clean, gold, and serving money. That chunky gold choker was the kind of piece that says, “I’m important and I don’t need to shout.” A matching gold wristwatch, and bold gold bankles, a standout ring, and a golden woven handbag sealed the deal. The handbag? Let’s just say it looked like it had no business being on anything less than a first-class flight.

Even the sunglasses came through dripping in attitude. Small frames, dark tint, and full-on “don’t disturb me” energy.

Of course, she had her Techno phone in hand (because Chioma is always booked, busy, and ready for business). But let’s be honest, while the phone is cute, we were all zooming in on that outfit.

Chioma Good Hair is a fashion blueprint, and this look? A certified slay. It’s the kind of outfit that makes you want to wear all black to that owambe and pretend you just “threw something on.”

Ladies, if you’re looking to steal some inspo from this slay, start with an all-black base, layer up with soft textures, and crown the look with bold gold. Oh, and don’t forget the turban. It’s not just an accessory. It’s an attitude.

Lesson of the day? When in doubt, go black, go gold, and go big, just like Chioma.

The burgundy corset centers the look. Its colour is rich and it had flora cut-outs. It hugs her waist. She wore a plain, long-sleeved button-down white shirt underneath it, but the combo makes it look unique because of the contrast between the shirt and the corset. For the button she wore blue jeans.

Her shoes match the corset in the same burgundy colour. They are pointed-toe heels from Gucci. She accessorized the fit in a simple way, sunglasses, gold statement bangles, a gold wristwatch and rings. Chioma complemented the look with a small structured red handbag with tiny crystals detailing on it. Her hair was styled neatly in a smooth low ponytail. Chioma’s makeup was done simply with softly defined brows, warm tones and a nude coloured lipstick to finish.

On top of the shirt and trousers, she wore an oversized blue coat with wide lapels and an open front. The coat passed below her knees. Everything was the same shade of slate blue.

This three-piece is the Lapis set from the brand MSO Lagos and shot by James Abang. She carried a customised purple Bible with embossed detailing that stood out against the outfit. Her shoes were green pointed-toe heels with mixture of red and grey snakeskin prints on them. They weren’t very visible under the trousers but they peeked out underneath them.

She accessorized the look with large gold rings on multiple fingers and simple earrings. Her makeup was sharp with a well-defined cat-eye liner, a smooth contoured base with a soft glow and a rose-coloured lipstick. Dikeh’s hair was styled in a low ponytail that had little waves and a deep side part.

Teniola Aladese Has Found the Perfect White Dress

Published

Teniola Aladese - Instagram

Teniola Aladese kicked of her week in style. “Good morninggg….. New week, let’s get it” she captioned her post with. She captured attention with just a simple white dress. The outfit combines a tailored, long-sleeved blazer style with the length of a mini dress.

Teniola Aladese – Instagram

Teniola had on a stark white, short dress with a deep, plunging V-neckline and notched lapels. The dress has long fitted sleeves and shoulders which fit her and holds its form well. It hugs her body well. She paired nude-coloured pointed heels, dark sunglasses and gold hoop earrings. Her hair was styled in soft waves and a black clutch in her hand kept accessories minimal.

The outfit works because of the balance between its structure and femininity. The elements of the blazer, the notched lapels and tailored shoulders gave it a smooth business like edge. But the short length and body-con fit didn’t make it feel too formal. It’s that mix that doesn’t make it your normal everyday style. The black accessories grounded the whole outfit and made it look composed.

Teniola won the Trailblazer Award at the 2022 AMVCAs. She started working in film in 2013, doing production work on over 30 Africa Magic films before she became an actress. She played the villain Folashade FK Kuku in “Unbroken” and Akweyon in “Jemeji.” Her time working behind the camera taught her what looks good on screen, and it shows in how she dresses.
