Well, let me take you down the lane of everything that happened at CHIVIDO2024!

Davido and Chioma’s traditional wedding was truly a spectacle to behold! It was an event that will be etched in the memories of all who attended for a long time to come. The wedding, which took place on a sunny day on June 25th, was a beautiful blend of culture, love, and celebration.

As guests began to arrive, they were greeted by the stunning decorations that adorned the venue. The colors were vibrant, with a mix of red, gold, and white, which are traditional colors in Nigerian culture. The entrance was flanked by two massive wooden doors, which were beautifully crafted with intricate designs.

As Davido made his way to the wedding venue, the streets erupted in cheers and applause. His devoted fans, known for their unwavering loyalty, showered him with admiration, hailing him as the “001″. The atmosphere was electric, with excitement building up for the highly anticipated union between Davido and Chioma.

Security was tight, with heavily built men in black suits and sunglasses manning the gates. Guests had to show their invitations before being allowed in. The invitations themselves were works of art, designed with a beautiful picture of the couple and the wedding details in gold foil.

The ceremony itself was a beautiful display of culture and tradition. Davido and Chioma looked regal in their traditional attire, with Davido wearing a beautiful agbada and Chioma looking stunning in an Igbo cultural attire.

The highlight of the ceremony was when GAC motors presented Davido with a brand new SUV as a wedding gift! The crowd went wild as Davido was handed the keys to the sleek vehicle which he in turn gave to Chioma.

As the ceremony progressed, Chike took to the stage, donning a bold, green outfit that sparked a flurry of comments on social media. His performance of “Running” was a highlight of the evening, as he serenaded the couple with his soulful voice, moving them to the dance floor.

After the ceremony, guests made their way to the reception, which was a whole different level of celebration. The food was amazing, with a variety of Nigerian dishes to choose from. The music was pumping, with Davido’s DJ spinning some of his hit tracks. The couple’s first dance was a beautiful moment, with Chioma looking like a princess in her purple dress.

The highlight of the reception was when Davido’s friends and family took to the stage to praise him and Chioma. It was a beautiful display of love and support, with everyone speaking glowingly about the couple. During the reception, Davido was asked to share his thoughts on Chioma, and with a smile, he said, “She sabi cook. Her food is sweet.” Chioma and a few of his Igbo friends playfully asked him to express his sentiments in Igbo, and without hesitation, he responded in his best Igbo accent, “Ona ato” (Her meals are delicious). The hall erupted in laughter and cheers, with many in attendance impressed by Davido’s effort to speak his wife’s native language, despite being Yoruba himself.

The crowd went wild when the DJ spun the “Ogechi Remix“, and Chioma couldn’t help but beam with joy as the chorus “O chi chi Chioma” filled the air. It was a moment of pure bliss, with love and happiness radiating from every corner of the beautifully decorated hall.

Now, let’s talk about the celebrities who attended. Oh my, it was a who’s who of Nollywood and Nigerian music industry! Verydarkman, Cubana Chief Priest, Ini Edo, Obi Cubana, Governor Adeleke, Nasboi, Kiekie, Rude boy, Kingrudy, Peter Okoye, Iyabo Ojo, Prisca Ojo, The Ateres, Lilian Esoro, Sydney Talker,Peter Okoye Ruth Kadiri, MayD, Stephanie Coker and many more were in attendance.
