Colour Combination You Need to Try This July

Published

on

Have you ever felt like you just want to hit the wall while trying to find the perfect color of outfit when you’re about to step out for an event? Then after that, your wardrobe turns upside-down, you end up getting frustrated, and still, you couldn’t find anything. One moment, you want the color pink, the next, you’re switching to grey. Somehow, everything in your wardrobe seems confusing.

“I have clothes, but I don’t know what to wear,” Well, you are not the only one in these shoes because I have experienced so much stress trying to pick outfits for events. During those moments, I realized the best and the fastest way to pick outfits is by picturing the color combinations for each dress.  You’re probably thinking, ‘How does that even work?’ Well, let me break it down — this July, outfit stress is not your portion.

So, if you have been struggling to choose the perfect colors of outfit, draw a seat closer, grab your tea, and tell the person beside you, they are not ready for what’s coming because I have curated six outfit color combinations that are far from boring. These colors show us that pairing color combinations doesn’t have to come with wahala and headaches, atimes.

Whatever color inspiration you want, there’s something for you here. Let’s get started.

Muticolored Pop (Pink, Green, Orange, White)

Remember the popular part of a lyric where the world stops and stares for you for a while? Yes! That’s what happens when you try these multicolored pop styles. This is a great approach for color blocking. The long, structured coat would immediately grab the attention of people. Is it because it’s bold and long? Not at all. It’s because of the multicolored pattern. The white crop top layered was the perfect fit for the coat. Then, there’s the wide-legged pink pants. That one screams confidence. You can match the outfit with sunglasses and a handbag. If you’re heading for a creative photo shoot, then you can try it on.

Lime & Luxe (Lime Green, Black & Tan)

When an outfit is styled rightly, then anything is possible. If you’re looking for something that’s not too loud, then you should go for it. The lime green off-shoulder crop top gave it a flirtatious look. This made the color feel a bit girly. It can be paired with a sleek black skirt. You can carry a woven tan bag to complete the outfit. This particular look doesn’t need to scream for it to get noticed.

Feathered Blush (Cream & Pink)

This color right here screams luxury and glam. If you want something luxurious, yet simple and attention grabbing, then a cream beige mini gown is what you need. Especially the one that’s styled with beads and sparkles. The cut out detail in the outfit added a modern touch and it showed off a bit of skin. The corner of the dress is designed with pink feathers. It’s a soft girl showstopper outfit. And you can wear pink heels to complete the look. If you’re heading to birthdays, or any event, try this on.

Sage & Crisp (Olive Green & White )

If you love the bossy chic vibe, then this color combination right here might just be what you need to start with. The crisp white button down is underneath the light olive green vest. The matching green trousers make the outfit beautiful. You can complete the look with a white mini handbag and a black sunglasses. This outfit is effortlessly elegant.

Electric Duo (Lime Green & Hot Pink)

You know that Barbie spotlight feeling? That’s what happens when Lime Green is combined with hot pink color. A lime green structured blazer is a great fit on it own, but now paired with a pink bodice, then it’s a blast. The green mini skirt added just the right amount of flair to it. If you’re going for a fashion event, then this is for you.

Midnight Cherry (Red, Grey & Black)

This look is for those who love to rock bold outfit. A fitted red sweater paired with a faded high waisted gray jeans meets cool girl with confidence. The black fur coat makes it look rich and elevated. This combination shows that you can wear cozy outfit and still stand out.

Conclusion: Let Color Do the Talking

These set of color combinations shows that you can play with color and still look good. So this July, don’t just wear color, style it. Let your outfit speak before you do. Which of these color combination caught your attention. Tell me in the comment section.

Mimi Yina was seen recently in a dress by Nigerian designer Weiz Dhurm Franklyn, and it was unique one. The hot pink colour was the highlight of the gown, but the details of the outfit are what makes the dress noticeable.

The dress has a dramatic high-low silhouette, with a short, fitted sequined skirt visible at the front and a long flowing train that falls to the floor. The gown appears to be made from a pleated fabric, giving it a voluminous texture. It has a halter-neckline and is designed with large flora-shaped bows, one at the waist and the other one near the knee.

She paired the outfit with simple silver strappy heels and minimal jewelry. Everything worked well with the strong outfit. Her hair and makeup were kept neat and natural.

The outfit design is distinctive. Weiz Dhurm Franklyn took a different approach with this piece, especially in how the details of the dress were handled. On mimi the dress suited her, like it was meant solely for her. With the bright colour adding more character to the overall look.

With bold colours and heavy details becoming more common, this dress still stands out because of how well it was put together. Nothing feels random, from the pleats to the bow placement.

Divine Ikubor, better known as Rema, has built a reputation not just for his music but also for his personal style. In a recent interview, the Nigerian Afrobeats star shared his approach to fashion, especially his preference for black, and revealed how his mother influences the way he dresses.

Rema often starts with the basics, choosing black pieces as the foundation of his outfits. This approach appears consistently in his streetwear, stage looks, and public appearances. He pays attention to details such as accessories and fit, combining comfort with a sense of personal expression.

Family also plays a role in his choices. Rema said his mother values him dressing in ways she considers responsible and presentable. He described this as guidance rather than limitation, a reminder of his upbringing and the values that shaped him.

In discussing style, Rema noted that clothing is a form of self-expression. He also touched on relationships, explaining that while financial stability matters, style and presentation are more important when considering a partner. This perspective mirrors his approach to fashion: thoughtful, intentional, and grounded in personal standards rather than trends or external pressures.

Rema’s comments provide insight into how he balances public image and personal values.
