“It’s audacious. It’s intentional. It’s no more playing small.”
Those were words ToluBally used when she posted on Instagram on February 25, 2026, and they were not about just an outfit. They were about the Bag-It Jeans, a new denim piece from her fashion brand 2207byBally, and from the way she captioned the post, this release means signals a new direction to her than a new product drop, and this appears to be her first demin release.

Her full caption said: “This chapter of my life? I’m stepping out of my shell, trusting my voice, and making strategic, meaningful decisions that align with the woman I’m becoming, not the girl I used to be. Growth looks good on me. And this 2207byBally Bag-It jeans is confidence stitched in denim.”
2207byBally has been around since 2016 and in that time the brand has built its name on sculpted dresses, fitted two-pieces and sharply tailored pieces. Denim has never been a visible part of the brand. this tease is not just about what she wore. It is about what the brand is moving towards. the Bag-It Jeans are something the brand has not done before.

Tolubally – Instagram
The jeans themselves are wide-leg, deep blue denim with contrast gold stitching running along every seam and a thick cuffed hem. They sit high on the waist and are loose down the hips and thighs. The gold stitching is the detail that’s more attractive. It runs through the entire jean and give it a considered, finished look. The design has been thought through properly.

Tolubally – Instagram
She styled them with a cropped red and beige striped polo shirt, a mini red Hermès Kelly bag, crystal pointed-toe heels, a gold wristwatch and layered necklaces.
Denim is a different space from what 2207byBally has been doing. Occasionwear speaks to specific moments. Denim is for every day. The Bag-It Jeans are the brand’s first proper denim release, it is something worth paying attention to. It means 2207byBally is not just dressing women for events anymore.

Maroon Isn’t Just Chioma Ikokwu’s Shade, It’s Her Mood
There are people who wear colours because they look good on them. Then there are people who return to a colour so often that it becomes a signature. With Chioma Ikokwu, maroon has quietly become a colour she embodies so well.

She chose a monochromatic look. She wore a maroon belted jacket with prominent shoulder detail and a high neckline. The bottoms are matching, high-shine, skintight leggings. She completes the look with matching pointed-toe heels, gloves, and a handbag.
Maroon, on her is carefully chosen. One that will sit well in her skin tone. Unlike brighter reds that demand immediate attention or softer tones that fade into the background, maroon is deep. It carries weight with a rich, smooth appearance. This combination of colour and cut creates a balanced, clean look.

Also, maroon is a colour that can be styled for suits, corporate gowns and casual looks. On Chioma, it works whether the look leans traditional, formal, or modern. The colour complements her overall styling.
What makes this look interesting is that the colour blends so well with her skin tone, the glossy leather belted jacket gave a more definite proportion and elevated the styling.

Mide Iwasokun Pairs Plaid Co-ord with Frilly Socks, Turning Everyday Into Style
In a time when fashion often feels planned for social media before real life, Mide Iwasokun reminds us that personal style can still feel natural, approachable, and genuinely fun. Her recent appearance in a plaid co-ord paired with frilly socks does not rely on heavy accessories or dramatic styling. Instead, it shows how everyday dressing can look stylish through thoughtful styling choices.

Photo: Nuels Gallery
The outfit itself is simple at first glance. A matching plaid set, structured but relaxed enough for daily wear, forms the base. Plaid can feel formal or casual, but this set balances both. What Mide does differently makes coordinated sets feel approachable and wearable. She treats it like everyday clothing meant to be worn, not preserved for special outings.
The co-ord sits comfortably between tailored and casual. That balance matters because matching sets can easily look rigid when over-styled. Here, the ease comes from how loose-fitting it is and how she wears it rather than relying solely on the set itself.

Then come the frilly socks, the detail that makes the socks a visible styling element.
While statement socks have gained attention in Nigerian street style, Mide’s pairing with burgundy heels adds a fresh, playful twist to the look.
This plaid co-ord look shows how small details can elevate a matching set. Small styling decisions can completely reshape familiar wardrobe items. A matching set becomes less formal when paired with playful details. Socks become visible styling tools rather than afterthoughts.
By pairing plaid with frilly socks, Mide turns an ordinary day outfit into an event-worthy piece. The result feels relatable because it gives room for free movement and ease. Nothing stiff. Just comfortable, versatile, and wearable.
