Wizkid and Asake were among the celebrities spotted at the Louis Vuitton Men’s Spring/Summer 2027 presentation during Paris Men’s Fashion Week in France. The event, held on Tuesday, June 23, brought together musicians, actors, athletes and fashion industry figures from different parts of the world as Louis Vuitton unveiled its latest menswear collection under Men’s Creative Director Pharrell Williams.

The appearance of the two Afrobeats stars added to the growing presence of Nigerian entertainers at major international fashion events. Over the years, global luxury brands have increasingly welcomed African artists to their runway presentations, a trend seen across recent international fashion weeks.

Wizkid arrived wearing a olive-green textured zip-up knit sweater. He paired it with a white tank top, light-coloured trousers, a Louis Vuitton belt, layered diamond jewellery and Louis Vuitton sunglasses.

Asake wore a fitted black T-shirt with black jeans, a brown leather belt and brown Timberland boots. The earth-toned accessories gave color to the otherwise monochrome outfit, staying true to the singer’s streetwear-inspired style while remaining appropriate for the occasion.

During the event, videos shared online showed Wizkid and Asake greeting each other with a warm embrace before spending time with other guests, including Pharrell Williams. The interaction quickly gained attention across social media, with many fans celebrating the meeting of two of Nigeria’s biggest music exports at one of fashion’s most recognised events.

Nigerian actress and television host Nancy Isime has ignited online discussions after sharing her thoughts on parenthood, suggesting that she may choose not to have children.

The media personality made the remarks during a recent appearance on the “Thanks For Coming” podcast when she was asked about the number of children she hopes to have in the future. Instead of giving a direct answer, Isime reflected on the realities of life and the responsibilities that come with raising a child.

According to her, the challenges people face daily have influenced the way she thinks about bringing children into the world. She questioned whether having children is always the ultimate expression of love, arguing that life often comes with struggles that no one can completely avoid.

During the discussion, Isime pointed to the pressures many individuals deal with, including emotional, financial and personal difficulties. She suggested that anyone considering parenthood must also think about the kind of world future generations will inherit. Her comments reflected a broader conversation that has gained attention globally, as some people increasingly weigh social and economic realities when making decisions about starting a family.

Despite her remarks, the actress did not say she has completely ruled out having children. Instead, she explained that her views are shaped by what she sees as the realities and responsibilities of bringing a child into the world, adding that every generation experiences its own form of hardship.

The interview quickly drew attention on social media, where clips of her comments circulated widely. While some users agreed with her perspective on the challenges of parenthood, others disagreed, arguing that the decision to have children is deeply personal.

Isime’s comments have continued to generate discussion online, with many viewers sharing differing opinions on her stance. However, the actress’s remarks stopped short of confirming a final decision, leaving her comments as a reflection on her current outlook rather than a definitive statement about whether she will become a mother.

Ini Dima-Okojie announced the birth of her baby boy with husband Abasi Ene-Obong on Wednesday, and the way she broke the news was nothing like what her fans would expect. She turned 36 on June 24, 2026, and instead of her usual birthday routine, she shared something far more personal.

Those who follow Ini on Instagram know her birthday posts are always an elaborate affair;themed concepts, and carefully planned photoshoots. This year, none of that happened. She posted a few simple hospital photos of herself holding her newborn son, with a heartfelt caption.

Photo: Instagram

“Every year, my birthday comes with a photoshoot, glam, and a carefully planned concept. This year, none of that felt quite right. Instead, I’m sharing a photo from the day my son was born. The day my life changed forever. Because as special as every birthday has been, this one feels different. This year, I celebrate as a mother,” she wrote.

She did not stop there. “There is no role I have ever played that has humbled me, stretched me, challenged me, or filled my heart quite like this one. These past weeks have been some of the most beautiful, overwhelming, exhausting, and rewarding of my life.”

She called her son “the cutest boy with the sweetest dimples” and said getting to know him has been “the greatest gift.” She also admitted motherhood gave her a new respect for every woman raising a child. “The newborn phase is no joke, and I definitely didn’t fully understand what was waiting for me. But even on the hardest days, I wouldn’t trade this journey for anything.”

She wrapped it all up with: “I feel incredibly grateful that God chose me for this responsibility. Today, I celebrate another year of life, but even more than that, I celebrate the privilege of being his mum.”

Ini had announced her pregnancy back in April, sharing a post of herself in a flowing white gown showing off her baby bump. The comments section has since been filled with warm congratulations from fans and Nollywood colleagues sharing their love and well wishes for the new family.
