What Dede Ashiogwu Wears When She Wants to Be Heard
Dede Ashiogwu has mastered a presence that people notice before they even realise it. She leans on black the way some rely on words, choosing shades that carry authority on their own. This week she reminded her followers of that pull with a short note on Instagram: “Make them stop and stare.”
She skipped the usual glamour settings and kept things stripped back, offering no locations or event hints, just a plain background that put her and the outfit front and centre.

Every part of the look feels deliberate. She chose a long black wool-blend suit-dress. It’s double-breasted, drawn in at the waist, and shaped with structured shoulders that give it clear definition. A white collar and cuffs break the darkness, joined by a narrow tie that anchors the look.
The surprise comes from the fringe: long strands hanging from the sleeves, torso, and hem, adding subtle flow to a carefully composed design. Changing the outline just enough to guide the eye, gold hoops and tortoiseshell shades provide warmth while her taper fade keeps the overall effect clean and composed.

Where bold patterns usually take the lead, Dede’s decision to keep it simple carries more impact than any bright print. The tailoring gives form without distraction, the fringe adds gentle energy, and the ensemble feels confident and intentional. She didn’t need a stage or a spotlight. The outfit spoke for itself, and it was impossible to look away.

Chimezie Imo Pays Homage to Michael B. Jordan’s “Sinners” Look
Chimezie Imo has been in the U.S. for several weeks, sharing a series of street-style looks on Instagram, from Brooklyn to Times Square. A common thread across these outfits has been a focus on monochromatic shades. Yesterday, he posted a new look that marked a departure from his usual street style something more elevated. With the “Sinners” track ‘Magic What We Do’ by Ludwig Goranss attached to the post, it became clear he was paying homage to Michael B. Jordan’s dual characters in the film, captioning the photo: ‘Meet me at half past 4’.

He wore a mid-length charcoal grey herringbone overcoat with notched lapels and buttoned front. He layered it with a yellow and brown plaid vest paired with a white shirt and a burgundy-coloured tie running straight down the middle. For his bottom he wore wide-leg, high-waisted grey trousers that matched the cool tones of his overcoat.
Chimezie accessorized his look with a grey flat cap that complemented his black leather gloves and a bold red Telfer bag as a statement piece. His outfit was completed with black patent leather shoes.

The strength of the look comes from its layering. Many men avoid waistcoats, but Chimezie wears a full three-piece outfit. The plaid waistcoat under the wool overcoat provides a break in the solid tones of the coat, while the burgundy tie matches the red in his bag, completing the outfit.
He carried black leather gloves in one hand, adding a classic accessory to the outfit.

His style leans heavily into a vintage-inspired smart-casual look that emphasizes on layering and texture as he combines formal elements with modern streetwear style.

Venita Akpofure’s Leopard-Print Diary from South Africa
Venita Akpofure has been exploring the sights and sounds of South Africa, giving fans a glimpse of her adventures from Cape Town’s vibrant nightlife to the colourful, historic streets of Bo-Kaap and the Zeitz MOCAA. Just when it seemed she might be winding down, Venita posted again, sharing a picture in a leopard-print swimsuit with the caption, “A golden fish can never hide.” The hashtags hint that if she posts more, her followers might just be left in tears and she might have a point.

She wore a leopard-print one-piece monokini. The swimsuit has a classic brown and black leopard pattern on a tan background. It has a scoop neckline and a high-cut leg design that rests above the hip bone and emphasizes a V shape.
Venita accessorized her look with multiple waist beads layered around her waist, including a thicker strand of white beads and a delicate gold-toned metallic strand, adding a touch of gold against her skin. She also wore simple stud earrings and when paired with Venita’s bold leopard-print swimsuit, they highlighted her waist.

Mercy Eke Wears Colourful Celestial Mini Dress by Lale Season
On March 10, 2026, Mercy Eke stepped out in a visually striking outfit and she captioned it with “Doing the least, but somehow it’s still doing the most” and the caption said everything.

Mercy Eke – Instagram
Mercy wore a long-sleeved bodycon mini gown featuring a colourful celestial-inspired graphic print from Lale Season. The dress has a turtleneck that creates a smooth shape. The print transitions from a yellow and orange sun motif on the chest to deep blue night sky pattern near the hem. The sleeves has a multi-coloured design with hints of floral details.

Mercy Eke – Instagram
The fabric had a slight sheen. The turtleneck neckline gave the top half a defined shape while the rest of the dress stayed fitted all the way to mid-thigh. Pairing long sleeves with a mini this short can be difficult to style but the proportions worked here. The length sat just at mid-thigh and the outfit created a clear, balanced proportion.
For footwear she wore black strappy heeled sandals with gold hardware at the toe and ankle. The shoes complemented the dress without drawing focus. A single gold bracelet and on her wrist and simple earrings was the only jewellery on display.

Mercy Eke – Instagram
Her hair was styled long and wavy with a middle part, sitting past her shoulders. Her makeup was classic full-glam, complementing her features.
Mercy often chooses standout pieces. She picks statement-making pieces and wears them without dialing anything down. This dress was bold from every angle.
